your kidding right ? why just bosna ? there are other teams who have the same kind of reputation and were not having a meeting about them.onthepissagain wrote:the league want to know if anybody is wiiling to play against bosna next year, should they get a promotion place. if the teams say that they are not, then bosna will be kicked from the league. its due to safety concerns for refs and player, due to the regular violence that happens at thier games.
it sets a dangerous precedent if this is the case.

I beleive all Div 2 teams have been asked to attend a meeting as the league wish to trial a new concept regarding the referee's and crowd control for the last 3 games of the Div 2season. Should it be succesful in the Div 2 trial they are planning on implementing the new concept for the entire league in 2008.

People come on here sayin "we played em and there was no problem why should they get kicked out" but there are plenty of people coming on here saying they have had big problems with them in the past, unfortunately there HAS been numerous problems with them. Every club has been in a fight or 2 but teams like Bosnia seem to be involved with these things way to much it can't be denied. Kicking them out is a shame but if we keep letting this stuff go it'll never stop, they are angry people that need to be controlled and the club itself has failed to control the problems so it might be the only option. If refs have to continue to ref these sort of games they'll simply stop reffing and then we'll be up a certain creek without a paddle. It does take 2 to tango but 1 of the 2 seems to be the same team quite regularly and i don't think its a coincidence.

Do you check the tide before you throw a line out...?
I think you could be right.Heard something like this.Apparently they looking at a code of conduct for all clubs for next season, which could include fines, suspensions, loss of points etc etc.Don't take my word for it,I only got it second hand.Canine wrote:I beleive all Div 2 teams have been asked to attend a meeting as the league wish to trial a new concept regarding the referee's and crowd control for the last 3 games of the Div 2season. The comment about 2nd division clubs being asked, if they want to play against Bosna next season must be coming from a birdbrain. Can you imagine the League asking the clubs ,who they want to play against? If this is true they all deversve to get the sack.
looks like a king tide this week. the fish are still jumping onto the boatOptimus Prime wrote:MORE SOLID GOLD FROM ONTHE PISSonthepissagain wrote:the secret to good fishing, is knowing what bait to use. this time though i got lazy and just used a net insteadcarra23 wrote:onthepissagain wrote:the league want to know if anybody is wiiling to play against bosna next year, should they get a promotion place. if the teams say that they are not, then bosna will be kicked from the league. its due to safety concerns for refs and player, due to the regular violence that happens at thier games.

As part of this review, a trial will be conducted within the Sunday Division 2 of certain measures recommended under the Fair Play - Fair Conduct project. The trial will be focusing on the "Club Marshals" and "Club Referee" measures recommended to the Management Committee. A meeting has been arranged with Sunday Division 2 club delegates to detail the trial for the remaining League fixtures for 2007. Representatives from the Amateur Referee's body will also be attending.carra23 wrote:So then................what was said?
anyone know?
Similarly, the same measures will also be implemented for the clubs involved in the Cup Semi-finals and Finals to be held at Grange.
This is the first step in correcting the perceptions and issues that affect the retention and recruitment of referees to our competition. Additional measures, with further details, will be presented directly to the Clubs and through the two dedicated links on the SAASL website.
hope that helps cara
oh and i think the meeting about bosna is next week. i just get so confused sometimes
