beaches wrote:What a load of hogwash. Torzz should stick to team managing, not get involved in crap on this forum. Whoever played for Fulham would have been eligible. If an u/17 player had played 5 games in reserves during the year they would not have been eligible to play in U/17's. at all. If Fulham U/17 were still alive in their cup and had then played in the reserves and in the event Fulham won then those U/17's could not go back to U/17's.
That is possibly why Cumberland did not play other Div players in their reserves. Because once a player plays up in cups and loses they cant go back.
I have often remarked over the past 3 or 4 years that Metro have probably had the best team on paper but not on the field, in short underachievers. So there Metro that should fire you all up. :) :)
Well done beaches another great contributor to these here forums...ive been a life long member on these forums dating back to 03 n always like to have my say.....but ur rite tho there is a lot of crap on here and gets worse n worse, i shouldnt lower myself to even bother with any of it. Guys, just get over it.

What teams and players do outside of the game is their perogative. Otherwise SAWSA would of stepped in and done something about it. It wasnt part of the game, it wasnt on a state trip and it had nothing to do with another team, so how does this affect anyone else besides the club?
I personally don't agree with it (i do find it a bit commical) but besides that, it doesnt affect me so move on.

Metro havent done anything wrong (even with the song).
Is Melbourne Victory gonna have a sook every time Adelaide United fans sing "F*** Off Melbourne"? I think that's a little bit more disrespectful.
Grow up and get over it.
I understand its not the A-League but losing and winning is just part of life.

I know i wouldnt care if some twats decided to sing a really bad song after they won (no matter how big or small the margin - a win's a win). And if that's how get Metro get thier kicks, then let it be.

As for the pitch, well boo fricking hoo. No one plays at Hindmarsh stadium
ever single Sunday so they can't say that thier pitch is perfect every single day of the year. EVERYONE has pitch problems whether its too big, small, long, short, bumpy, muddy, hard or all of thee above... They've moved the game to a "better" pitch and if anything its losing home ground advantage. They're playing away too.

AND yes metro players did shake the hands of the fulham players, this one you cant argue with. Sure you cant shake the hand of EVERY SINGLE player that was on that pitch. You walk past and shake hands with who ever walks past you, you're not going to chase players to their bench or into the changeroms to shake thier hands. That i would call as rubbing in.

i just have a few words to say and they are JEALOUSY!!!! JEALOUSY!!! OHHHHHHHHH JEALOUSY!!! quit pickin on metro ! u have nothing better to do then come on here and bag another club who gives a s h i t what u think do you think this will affect us? do u think we will play differently due to ur comments and do u think we actually care? have some respect for urselves as it only makes urselves look bad. Girls who love the game just go out on sundays to play soccer..... so once and for all for all the people who will stay un named and continue to bag players, coaches, officials and supporters ur actually making yourself look stupid and really little. Just because u dont respect ur self dont disrespect us....
every club does it hard......
METRO is full of heart....... and again congrats girls HINDMARSH HERE WE COME!!!! UNLUCKY FOR SOME....
BRING!!! IT ON!! ohoOOOOOOOOOO cup final WINNERS!
