BRESCIANO MOVES TO MANCHESTER CITY
Australia midfielder Mark Bresciano joined Manchester City from Serie A team Palermo for about $6 million, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Bresciano, who spent eight seasons in Italy playing for Empoli, Parma and Palermo, agreed on a four-year contract and trained with his new teammates yesterday, the newspaper said. He would be the fifth offseason addition to City's midfield.
``I needed this move to freshen me up,'' the Herald cited Bresciano, 27, as saying. ``I needed a new challenge and I wanted to get the excitement factor back into my game.''

Bresciano To City Move Collapsed
Mark Bresciano will not be moving away from Palermo as his move to Manchester City has collapsed.
It seemed like only thing missing was the player's signature, but apparently it's all been called off. Mark Bresciano will not be moving to Manchester City.
The negotiations were allegedly well underway, but they stalled at the crucial moment: while the agreement over the player's transfer price was found at 8 million euros, there were strong disagreements regarding the mode of payment. The English team wanted to spread the payment over different rates, starting from September, while Palermo wanted everything at once.
"The conditions for an agreement are not there, even though we did what we could to fulfil the player's wishes", sporting director Foschi said.
"In any case, Bresciano is happy at Palermo, and is available to coach Colantuono more than ever, even though he might be a bit disappointed."

We would have been able to see a lot more of him. Oh well, not to be.Forza Roma wrote:so i guess he isnt going there then

I think your missing my point mate. What sort of Italian are you if you not only buy but then brag about your new Man Utd. top ?? You show off the Italian world cup winning years, and Maradona juggling a ball, Then brag about a Man. Utd. Top. WTF is that ??????
NO TRUE supporter would EVER admit to going for another club, especially from England, you are obviously not a true Italian either.
Exactly my point when i said your team is crap thats why you go for an English club. Keep dreaming if you think Napoli will ever play Man Utd. in the next 50 years.
Sorry its only my opinion but i think its ridiculous and embarrasing not only to your club but your country. That you "say" you support.
Don't use other bananas names to try and defend yourself, they are just as dumb. IMO.
Sorry.

OK, Do you see any Liverpool (just an example of an english club) "supporter" with a Liverpool player juggling a ball and "Egland - WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS 1966" as his signature. Showing off proudly, that he bought a new AC Milan shirt, and how good it looks ??
Does that seem normal to you ???

No-one is right or wrong in this. You can support whoever you want, just different people see it differently.
Personally i cannot support any other club team in the world except for Ascoli, simply because if i take 1% of the support I have for Ascoli, it would not feel right. I feel my commitment is soley for Ascoli, and anything else is a compromise.

you're 100% correct. it's all about how the person feels and also what type of football they have grown up with.aussie_ascoli wrote:No-one is right or wrong in this. You can support whoever you want, just different people see it differently.
