Yeah well done to the raptors boys. Definately were a suprise packet early on in the season! Week in week out you lads are proving that you deserve your league position and the chance to play in division 2. Played very well against vista yesterday had some good attacks and was able to provide the killer final ball. Not too sure if ISC are quite up to the Div 1 standard though from what ive seen... but then again they could prove me wrong again if they keep getting the results. Good on ya lads - always like to see the newly promoted sides get up there and challenge... with a few exceptions...

yer thanks mate,,,your club is full of top guys especially all the guys who played in back line,,,to be honest at the begining of the year we where just happy to stay in div 2 and jumping into div 1 would be to much of a big step for our club i think, even though we did beat a div 1 side pre season and kept up with a top div 1 side for 80 mins of the game,,but that doesnt mean shyte when the serious stuff start,

Hi Guys,
TK here, just touching base from positano in Italy. Great to see the good results from abroad. I am glad to say that I have now recovered from my cracked Ribs and looking forward to getting back to training with you guys when I get back in a couple of weeks.
Keep up the great work MegaBonus, you seem to have sorted out the backline a bit, has JT still been playing sweeper?
hey maxin, have you been training or playing any games? have you changed your mind about sitting out the rest of the season?
Anyway, catch up with you all soon
Go the raptors!

great to hear from you. hope your having a fantastic time O/S while we freeze in this southern winter.
the boys have been doing really well the last few weeks, especially after our mid-season slump. theyve improved on all results from the first round so it looks promising for the rest of the year
as for me, i havent been training but i plan on coming out regularly from next week on. I havent changed my mind about this season - im ruling out a comeback but i at least wanna get out there and have a run at training to keep the fitness up and to see all the boys cause thats the part i miss the most

Another great win yesterday from the Raptors boys to take second spot in Div 2. Well played throughout and probably couldve had another, but 3-0 was a fair result.
Though theres still a fair way to go, our improving results should give us confidence in the run home - its all in our hands now!
HUGE game this week versus West Beach who are gonna wanna reclaim that precious second spot after the weekends loss. They wouldnt have liked us beating them on their home pitch earlier in the season, so they'll come out firing. But we need to show that same determination and attitude thats got us into the position we are now. No easy games for us - everyone will be like a final

A’s
ISC Raptors 1 – 2 West Beach
Disappointing result yesterday for The Raptors looking to cement their spot in second place. A win would’ve been handy to open up a bit of a gap to West Beach, but as it has been in the past we failed to take advantage of an opportunity.
Pretty dull game from both sides aswell. Not a lot in it other than a few half chances. West Beach were a bit fortunate to get the free kick that resulted in their first goal and I think our goal was an own goal. I reckon a draw would’ve been a fair result. But WB came and got the points to avenge their first round defeat.
Hopefully we can bounce back against Plympton this week and Pontians can do us a favour by beating WB.

Pontians should do you that favour this week but not to sure about the last game of the season though!
just worry about this week golden eagle. raptors were not even close to winning that game. contrary to what they believe. we even had to score thier goal for themGolden EAGLE wrote:maxin in the shade wrote:A’s

Well the referee scored the first goal for you. I didn't realise when a defender slides in the box to cut out a cross which then SPILLS to the keeper, that it is a deliberate pass back. And I always thought once the free was given the ball could not be closer than the 6-yard line, I asked the ref this but he then proceeded to place the ball about a metre inside the 6-yard box, what a load of crap!!onthepissagain wrote:just worry about this week golden eagle. raptors were not even close to winning that game. contrary to what they believe. we even had to score thier goal for themGolden EAGLE wrote:maxin in the shade wrote:A’s

Then he gave you a dubious penalty that you missed, then your player scored a cracker! yeh right buddy, it was a floater cross turned shot from almost the halfway line that was in the air for about 10 seconds, the wind took it and the keeper misjudged it and it floated over his head and into the goal..... Keeper error, no thunderbolt...
We didn't deserve to win coz we played crap, but without the referee neither would you....
dont blame the wind for that goal. bet your keeper would of caught it if it was a big mac. as for the rest of the game. we looked more danderous and held the ball more all day.how could you possibly say the penalty was dubious, i heard people calling handball out cars driving along port rush road. the only thing you got correct is that you were crap. but you were crap the first time we played you too.Ace wrote:Well the referee scored the first goal for you. honest question? are you being serious????
you seem to be developing a bit of a relationship with the raptors on the forum.
i'd be inclined to believe its your way of asking if you can play with us next year. however, most teams have a 1 'knob' per club policy.....which we dont want to introduce in 2008

No-one held the ball mate, the game was full of long balls and flick-ons the whole game, no team really had a strong hold of possession.... this sort of game suited beach more than us...
I know who you are "pissmypants", you are a fat, bald crappy B's player, why don't you concentrate on your sh!te reserve team coz they got their arses fed to them on sunday.... for your A team's sake I would keep my mouth shut on here because the season is not over by a long shot, and next week is a whole new ball game...
For the record I enjoyed playing against the A's, nice bunch of lads who work hard and play fair.... too bad you have neverwillbe uncle fester look-a-likes making your club look bad... good luck for the rest of the season Beach, hope it comes down to the wire....
a never will be you say, i am . you say you know who i am. but i dont hide my identity. you may know what i look like, but you definitely dont know who i am. all i dream of is to win a div 1 title or 2 and maybe the cup once or twice and maybe a player of the year ( or tie for it ) . who knows, if i wish hard enough it just might happen.Ace wrote:onthepissagain wrote:dont blame the wind for that goal. bet your keeper would of caught it if it was a big mac. as for the rest of the game. we looked more danderous and held the ball more all day.how could you possibly say the penalty was dubious, i heard people calling handball out cars driving along port rush road. the only thing you got correct is that you were crap. but you were crap the first time we played you too.Ace wrote:Well the referee scored the first goal for you. Ace, ace, ace. You really aren't fit to lick the cow-shite off the sole of onthepiss' boots he picked up last Sunday.
Well played the rest of the raptor lads and good luck.
I bet Ace is the hard-man? I heard talking after the game about how the A's should have broke JM's leg during the game instead of letting him dictate play. Sad.
