Florina 3 - Vale 3

Entertaining game. Florina 3-1 up with 20 to go, florina go down to 10 men and vale get the equaliser with about 1 minute left thru a handball = penalty. good game.

A's 2-1 to the Gully.
Vista played well but the Ref played his part too, nuff said.

Thanks for the beer Brad, all the best for the season.
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

ref called one offside after at least 5 were flagged and waved down, by 2 different people, resulted in the 1st goal, then a blatant foul in the box against vista that resulted in a corner, goal scored. nice tough game, ref a f**k head

i think it was a fair result. was quite amused listening to your players in the changerooms after the game. as for the ref, well. he probably didnt have the best of days. but as i see it, was a bit of karma for the guy who did the b's. he is a discrace. can you atleast teach the guy the rules. beaches b's could of scored 10 in the second half. so were definitely not played off the park, despite the scoreline

Can confirm ..

A Team - Ingle Farm 0 Elizabeth Downs 1
B Team - Ingle Farm 1 Elizabeth Downs 1
C Team - Ingle Farm 4 Elizabeth Downs 0
C2 Team - Ingle Farm 2 Mod Vista 0 (Forfeit)

In the 1st team Downs did well with the injuries they had today. We had 4 out too, which was a bit depressing for us in our big match.

Radford scored a great goal but was absolutely in pain with a bad back, Butler didnt play at all and Reeves came on in the second half.

Matty Blackwood had a blinder once again for the Downs, superb player - should be state team captain.

Well done Downs, coupla more wins and the league is yours, good hard game, yet only 1 or two yellow cards on the day...

B Team, well, different story, I think its fair to say our B Team players felt cheated out of a goal late in the second half, then Downs got their equalizer in the 87th minute.. it was a real kick in the face to our B's.

Not whinging tho.. Well done to Downs B's for their comeback, in what was two good games to watch..

A's

Fulham 1 - Para Hills East 1

East had the better of us for 70 mins and were up 1 nil with a goal early in the 2nd half.

we decided to play the last 20mins and equalised with 15 mins to go and had our chances to win it.

we will still take the 1 point us it takes us 1 point closer to Inter (who play Downs away this week) and leaves us 2 points behind
Westies who will still have to play at our ground.

Lion 1 - Inter 0.

A's Plympton 4 v Pumas 1
B''s Plympton 5 Pumas 2

A great day out for the dogs, great to get a win after 2 hard fought draws in the last 2 rounds against quality teams in the beach & knights. Could have scored a few more in the last 10mins but for some poor finishing. Ref had a shocker, at 1-0 up we scored a second which somehow went thru the back of the net only for the ref to call a goalkick, with some of the Pumas players saying it was goal they conceeded the ref did not even go and inspect the hole in the net but then requested that the hole in the net be fixed at half time

Must give credit to their B grade keeper. He had a great game pull off 4 point blank saves & also saved a penalty. If he wasn't best on ground for the raptors B side there must be something wrong there. He kept them in the game even though we did have more chances in the second half.

Knights v Croatia

B's 0-3
A's 2-2

Best B's ref this season, although wasteful finshing kept it closer

A's - we were 2-0 down in first 20 minutes including an own goal then was all Knights got one back just before halftime and the second with 20 minutes to go. Croatia ran out of legs and were camped in their own half for almost all of second half (although with 10 to go our keeper made a great save)

Combination of poor pitch, poor finishing and poor refereeing cost us all 3 points. Referee missed a blatant penalty then failed to send a Croatia player off after he hit our player right in front of him!

Croatia have very poor discipline should have been 6th? send off in 4 weeks
