Well Gleeson are unbeaten in 8, have conceded only 1 goal in 7 [After a 6-0 defeat at the Hands of stirling] so defensively based on trends post stirling game, gleeson are the best defense in the league, and better than Modbury in that aspect. However, 5 games have been drawn in this unbeaten run, 4 of which have been 0-0. Gleesons problem is scoring. Their main striker [Torsten Rutter] is away alternate weekends, some coinciding with byes, leaving them with little forward options. I believe they will be a force of the Amateur league next season, you mark my words, and the oldest player in the squad is 26, the rest 23 and under.

hellas what makes you think you will be able to score goals next year if you cant score any this year?what players have you guys got out there and whos any good for this year or next?

I would love to tell you who plays out here cocaine dave, but indeed that would be telling. We at Gleeson prefer to be an unknown quantity, but are going from strength to strength. We are a very young team by Amateur league standards, i reiterate that our oldest player in the first team is 26, meaning we are a team of 'nearly were's' as opposed to a team of 'Has beens' like many other amateur leaugue sides. We will not have problems scoring next year, as some reasonable names are coming out, under the age of 25. Only next season will tell, however the future is rosie.
