last night. Hes slow, lazy and losses the ball too many times.
his build should be way too strong for these skinny asian teams,
and still struggles.bench viduka, not kewell and cahill

Re: VIDUKA
im with u on this one, i was actually going to ask the same question, he doesnt look interested, yes he scored twice but how many times did he lost the ball? against players half his size, what amazes me is that in EPL he scores some wonderful goals but when it comes to australia he just crumbles, his second goal last nite took his tally for the national team to 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 goals in an international career that has lasted over 10 years, i know he doesnt play for the national team all the time but thats pathetic, he is untouchable, like his casual approach to that penalty he missed against uruguay in the world cup qualifier, honestly what is going through a players mind when they try something like that? viduka is quality, no doubt about that, but not when he plays for australia, i cannot remember him having a game that stands out? can anyone?totti wrote:is it me, but viduka is overrated, how can he get best on ground

Viduka is a champion striker and if it were not for him, Australia would not have achieved what they have to date.
To those that judge the player by the number of goals he has scored, you have obviously no idea as to what his role is in the Australian line up and most likley do not understand the game at all. As far as I am concerned, he would have to be one of the best strikers in the world in the now common and highly fancied lone striker formation. For a big man, his skill and first touch is superb and he us usually a deadly finisher. It is no coincidence that he is highly rated at whatever club he plays for.

VIDUKA + ARCHIE
not viduka and aloisi
they're the same farken player
vidukes has been shit, but he's been banging them in, total role reversal for him when he's usually quite good, but can't score.
he needs another striker with him to get the most out of him. 1 up front is no good unless you can counter well, which with dukes, we cannot.
