Campbelltown vs Playford U17B

Post by Xplosive »

The Playford crew are a little quiet today - a bit upset at not having thrashed a Campbelltown B's side missing 3 of their better players?

Campbelltown even had 2 16's and a 15A playing for them. Campbelltown are a young side with 7 or 8 of their players eligable for 16's. It was a fair result a 2-2 draw. Campbelltown are the only team to get points when playing Playford.

Forfeit what the hell are you talking about Huddo 3? There was no offer of a forfeit to Playford.

funny how you say that now. campbelltown tried to use the absoulte shit'house condition of the pitch as an excuse to forfeit the match minutes before kickoff.

Where did you get your information from mate. Campbelltown were happy to play on the pitch.

happy to play in a swamp? or on a beach? either way they'd be happy because the pitch was definitely both of them. it was all over the place. well maybe it was a last try by the coach to offer a forfeit? or maybe your ref was making things up..?

The ref was probably making things up because the coach was happy to play on the pitch but if the ref said this how come he refereed the game before on the same pitch and didn't try call off the match.

simply because it was Campbelltown v Playford. but congrats on getting a point, it was more of a win to Campbelltown than Playford. Maybe if you keep playing well you'll get up past mid-table.

people in the playford squad, who made comments that they would thrash cambelltown and they are the best, should be embarrased, cause at the end of the day you were lucky you even got a point, if that free kick which hit the post went in you would've walked away with nothing.

The pitch conditions I thought suited Campbelltown, playford probably had more of the play, but didn't do anything with it.

Well Done to Campbelltown as they played tough and worked as a unit.

Huddo#3, you obviously weren't at the game because then you would've known that there was no offer of a forfeit. You are just a typical bloke out of Elizabeth, a scum thats what you are, your boys down at Playford are just probably looking for an excuse because Campbelltown was the only team to get points off you this year. Toughen up las and stop your bitching.

Huddo, get back in your hole before you make yourself look like even more of an idiot.

The ref approached the Campbelltown coach and asked if he wanted to not play the match. The Campbelltown coach simply said to talk to the other coach, and that he didnt care.

There was no offer of a forfeit and no backdown from Campbelltowns part, although you would love to think there was. Simple fact is, you couldnt beat us when we had a depleted team at your ground, and you couldnt beat us when we had a depleted team at our ground. Live with it.

Its funny I'm sure if Playford won, there would've been a whole heap of verbal waste running. But now that they didn't win, they've got nothing.

If campbelltown played the way they do against playford every week they would've finished top by a mile.

I agree definatley Phantom, these Playford shunks were lucky 2 get out of ctown with just a point, if there wasn't an injury to the left back that game and the ponytail kid played on the wing with the support of his other hardworking teammates , the game wouldve definatley been in the bag 4 campbelltown. Well done to the younger lads that came up and played out of their skins.

Campbelltwon have beat playford at their turf, they kept them to a draw at their own turf, they have proved to the league they are a very good side. Playford have been undefeated to everyside, the only team they didn't beat in the league is Campbelltown.

If the pony tail kid played on the wing, he would've ripped playfords defence apart, so lucky for playford he was put in an unfimilar position. cause i rekon he could've bagged 3 easily.

yeh definately agree phantom, dont want 2 giv the kid a big head here but left back isnt his position but on a personal note i think the u16 player that we had who ripped in the midfield did another fantastic job who i would giv man of the match

Campbelltown were also missing 3 players becasue they were playing for A's that day on the senior pitch. We brought two 16's and a 15A player so don't give me this shit T-bag that if Playford had all their players they would've won because both teams were missing valuable players.

Listen up Campbelltown.
You guys obviously think your the best thing out there, having beaten playford once and tied another, but i ask you this:
Where are you on the table?

So until you can catch playford on the table, keep your mouths closed.

it doesnt matter where ctown are on the ladder all that matters is that when the shit hits the fan, campbelltown u17 b's are the most underrated team in the whole u17 league. Having kicked off the first game together defeating a strong para hills outfit

Oh woe is me. Campbelltown 17B have had to pull players from lower age groups EVERY WEEK this season. Yesterday was the first time the squad was together bar one injury. The team has even played 3 or 4 games with just 11 players, so just drop the subject that Playford are so hard done by. Just accept that 11 v 11 you cannot beat Campbelltown.

Campbelltown have never had a full squad someone is always injured, sick, away or getting a promotion to the A's. We always have to borrow 15's and 16's to help us make up a squad eveyweek. Sunday was the only time we played with only our players we still had 2 on the bench which wasn't enough so Playford stop your bitching about not having a full squad.
