This was supposed to be the team to beat this year, and did look really good early! Have they got injury problems ?
Strikers looking good at the moment !

First must admit i have not seen Metro U/17 this year.
But looking at their results the only 2 games they have won are against Comets & Modbury - both are still yet to get a point.
Of the 4 A div teams i've seen Adelaide City look the best. At this early stage seems likely to be between AC and Western Strikers.
Overall, the standard this year is not great.

Of what I've heard the boys have been a bit unsettled lately due firstly to losing 3or 4 boys to the 19s and then their techinical trainer taking a sabbatical due to family reasons.
Still enough talent there to give it a shake once they regroup.

campbelltown 17s are getting good results , watched them against modbury , they turned it on then relaxed after leading 2-0 . plus had a player sent off. very fit side and aggresive .

metrostars u17s side has lost a couple of players to other clubs and roughly 5 players have moved up to the u19s squad. the team has been playing good games and not so good games but beggining to get more consistant. the lack of perminant players is the main cause to some of their losses. but we are starting to see a sharper team.
