ur kidding right??? Bianchi is a future superstar, he is much better than Samaras or Vassell (HAHAHAHAH THAT GUY'S A JOKE)[/quote]
not saying he isnt better - although he's only really had one good year, but i think we'll sign a few more players yet possibly yakubu. and he's 24 so he's not really a kid.

Yeh he will be no worse off than being at Reggina though. If you play at Reggina it is like you are emmediately not considered for national selection. Bianchi recently said he would be happy to stay at Reggina this season.... he is not looking for money or a big team.... he just wants to play and score goals. And to whoever said he has only had 1 good season.... he had many great years with the Italian youth team.... at 22 he underwent a knee reconstruction which is why he hadn't had a f ull season in serie a till this year. Note Reggina sold Bonazolli in favour of Bianchi when he was 21 that is how much potential they saw in him.Laziale wrote:why would u go to man city when half of serie a is interested in signing you. i wonder how this will affect his career with the nazionale.
turn it up. when have you last had a plyer good enough to represent italyReggina10Cozza wrote:Yeh he will be no worse off than being at Reggina though. this is one of the most ridiculous transfers in a while, he would be much better off in italy, even with reggina.

Bianchi, Modesto, Mesto, Amoruso, A.Lucarelli.... now not all of course would be called up but you are ignorant if you are saying that some of those names didn't deserve call ups this season... or you just have no idea. watch how quickly mesto and modesto will get called up once they leave reggio.getborn wrote:Reggina10Cozza wrote:Yeh he will be no worse off than being at Reggina though. need to be better than the players ahead of them.Reggina10Cozza wrote:Bianchi, Modesto, Mesto, Amoruso, A.Lucarelli.... now not all of course would be called up but you are ignorant if you are saying that some of those names didn't deserve call ups this season... or you just have no idea. watch how quickly mesto and modesto will get called up once they leave reggio.getborn wrote:Reggina10Cozza wrote:Yeh he will be no worse off than being at Reggina though. yes they had good seasons and were perhaps unfortunate in some cases, but i do not believe there is a conspiracy against reggina.

I never said there is a conspiracy but it is quite clear that being a Reggina players does you no favours in terms of national call up. Bianchi was leading the goalscoring at certain times when the national team played this season.... and no call up. Modesto and Mesto are two of the most complete wingers I have seen play, they are both under 25 they deserve national team call ups. you say they need to be better than the players ahead.... bianchi was top scorer behind totti all season, wat more do you need to do.... people with half the goals he had score like Gilardino and Di Natali were getting call ups.getborn wrote:need to be better than the players ahead of them.Reggina10Cozza wrote:Bianchi, Modesto, Mesto, Amoruso, A.Lucarelli.... now not all of course would be called up but you are ignorant if you are saying that some of those names didn't deserve call ups this season... or you just have no idea. watch how quickly mesto and modesto will get called up once they leave reggio.getborn wrote:turn it up. when have you last had a plyer good enough to represent italyReggina10Cozza wrote:Yeh he will be no worse off than being at Reggina though. Also Di Michele and Bonazolli were called up to the Azzurri only after they left Reggina despite brilliant seasons for the Amaranto.... so dont act like I am being paranoid... it is pretty much expected in emong the Calabrese tifosi that there stars wont play national team football whilst in a Reggina shirt.
there's no conspiracy but he got a point. bianchi should have easily been a part of the squads in all the euro qualifiers in the last 6 months but hasn't got one call up yet. doubt he'll improve his chances much with citeh though, especially if they sign a higher-profile forward with their new $$ and bianchi isn't the main man.

La liga is very good, as lower ranked teams can upset the likes of barca, madrid etc.._. wrote:yes, that's true

Agree even though Max Tonetto deserved a call up, IMO he's had a similar season to Modesto. Now the thing is Modesto is much younger than Max. Really its only Grosso, and Tonetto. Personally depending if they put Zambrotta there as well, in the next 1-2 years Modesto should be battling for the spot ahead of Grosso and Tonetto.Reggina10Cozza wrote:I never said there is a conspiracy but it is quite clear that being a Reggina players does you no favours in terms of national call up. Don't take much away from Di Natale he's a different player to Bianchi, and has been playing in his role at Udinese very well. But Bianchi should of been given a go ahead of Gila's, and would serve as a good replacement for Toni. Especially in friendlies.
you obvisouly dont know about eyetalian soccer, you dont get called up unless your kiling it in Serie A, no where else. I think Cassano was the last non-serie A player to be called up.. and hes at Real, who i would say area bit more prestigous than Man City.shaunwright-phillips wrote:back on topic, if he keeps scoring he will be in contention for a call up. wont effect his chances by playing epl. he will need some good supply though, from my limited views off on youtube he is more of a poacher than a creative striker eg. RVN type.
