Campbelltown have lost players for the rest of the seaon with injuries which makes it hard for them to put out a quality side. But I think they will cause the upset of the season and beat Adelaide City in the quarters.
My Prediction
Adelaide City 1-1 Campbelltown (Campbelltown 4-3 on penalties)

Because of Adelaide Citys win earlier in the season campbelltown will be hungrier than ever. With players missing, the game will prove a challenge for campbelltown but there is enough depth in the side to still put out a quality line up.
If the game should go to penalties it could be tough for campbelltown considering that their main keeper could be out on suspension. So for campbelltown to win they will have to gain an early lead and hold off city for the remiander of the game.
all in all it shouldbe a close game which could go either way. it will just come down to who wants it more on the day.

to beat city Campbelltown will have to be top of their game, now that they have lost key players, it will make it extremely tough, but I know that the 16s of Campbelltown have the passion to fight through adversity and cause the upset of the year.

ye u keep thinkin like that, last times result was reflective of a somewhat poor campbelltown performance with a shaky start in the 1st half they conceded 2 stoppable goals.
This time will be different as campbelltown will no what to expect straight up and will not come out and give a 2nd rate first half as they did last time.
will the game be played at the good ground where the seniors play or at the shitty pitches in town?

no they will reverse the fixture and play at campbelltown where there is no choice BUT to play on shitty pitches.campbelltown_7 wrote:ye u keep thinkin like that, last times result was reflective of a somewhat poor campbelltown performance with a shaky start in the 1st half they conceded 2 stoppable goals.

city took a comfortable 4-0 lead in the first 25 mins. Then C town won a penalty and conveted. It was 4-1 at the break, and with 15 mins into 2nd half C Town scored another goal. It was then followed with a penalty converted by city.
It was a good game to watch, played at good spirits from both teams.
(city made it a harder win than it should of been)

Game was played in good spirits today.
Campbelltown conceded 4 soft goals in the first 20 mins of the match which killed them. They fought back extremly well getting the score line to 4-2.
Well done to the Campbelltown boys they fought it out to the end, and well done to the U15b and 14A boys who came to help out the team, you both played outstanding matches.

I didn't know C'town had brought up younger players. I assumed they brought down eligable players from their 17s.The Phantom wrote:Game was played in good spirits today.

Well Done to C'town for giving the younger players ago.

A depleted campbelltown side did extremely well to still fight and give a good performance on sunday. Had the circumstances been different and campbelltown's full side played city's full side then the game would have been different. But saying that there were unavoidable absences which ultimatly cost campbelltown progression to the semi finals.
Compliments to every one who played on a good game.
