F@!k the downs!

Post by Sherminator »

Yeah!!! Go the vale!
Great 3-1 win. Just too much for the downs to handle. Unbelievable effort from the lads! An embarrassing admission of defeat from bert, swinging a punch and copping a red card.

rick hotcka the dirtiest player to ever set foot on a soccer pitch, you are a disgrace you sad prik. Pc was the diference and will always be a friend to the Downs. Best of luck Matty and I hope those Vale muppets dont screw you again.

What happened with Bert? Unlike him to throw a punch.

Challenges were flying in ref could of blew up earlier either way the free could of went. Challenge on Bert he didnt take kindly to it and retaliated (spelling) Scuffle broke out with a couple of punches thrown and the offenders were apprehended and dealt with.
Marrooned cheers bro but hey take it easy on the cunts bit your a bit to edgeumacated for them nasty words!
Rick definately not the dirtiest player, maybe 1of the hardest at the ball in the league but I reckon the dude who spat on cockers a couple weeks ago is way up there and past that.

Yeah as much as I hate saying it Vale certainly looked like they wanted it more.

Peacy in goals certainly the difference.

Brooksey though I thought was pretty poor. Not waht I expected out of him. Although he scored the free kick, apart fomr that I dont think he brought much to the team. Few of the younger lads i though were far better.

his nod down for the vales first goal was a peach - but most people are suprised at the weight he is carrying. did the free kick go through the wall, didnt get a good look at it but wasnt the cleanest of shots. bert initially lashed out with the boot at a bit of frustration, nothing much in it really, low end of a red card. cant argue with the result but i thought the downs were going to over-run vale when they equalised, the vales 2nd was a real ricky hatton body blow.

well done peacey played well. yeah bert did lash out and its unfortunate for the game to spill out like that. Ricky did hit the player from behind.as much as i dont condone fighting if u r gonna fight then do it toe to toe dont hit from behind ricky!!! well done vale and the downs will fight on and win the league this year.

Would the title of this topic possibly suggest some pent up angst and jealousy of success and frustration with ones own acceptance of mediocrity?

onthepissweak dude you weren't there and there where circumstances for his actions. His actions were provoked by another about to be stuck from behind and got in 1st
Now firstly I'd like to ask when or have you ever seen Rick hit anyone from behind? I think not I know the dude very well and that is definately not his style!!!
2ndly since your so quick with the "hard I think not" comment and "toe to toe doesn't sound like him". I suggest that YOU go toe to toe with the man himself.
Rick and i have been in a few blews together i can tell you he will absolutely KILL YOUR sorry balding fat ass!

yep, true, i know rick very well too, he can fight for sure, one of the hardest players around, no doubt, easy to bag him on here, would love to see you do it to his face

i've played against him long enough to know what im talking about. if you class trying to hit people when they are going for headers or on the ground after a tackle hard , then thats your choice. i just think its dirty. and have said that to his face.
