great result
coulda been more but a wins a win.

Respect to the Puma boys, kept playing footy all afternoon
and deserved their goal in the 2nd half.
Had a few brito's afterwards too.

All the best for the season lads.

Looking forward to the food feast next week at the Imbro's
Good results for the Vista teams today, but Pumas were terrible. Thats 2 wins on the trot for the As but they have some big games to come. Thought the B game was very ordinary and the worst side lost.

vista had a good day on the park with all four teams winning(i think)but big raps to pumas with only 6(i think) fresh players taking the park for the a's they never gave up all day. The coach of the b's who removed number 7 though it meant them going down to ten men deserves a mention, over all pumas were a great bunch of lads most took the banta in good spirit.

i have so much more to say but its not for me to say.

Yeah agreed there Carra. Pumas lads seemed mostly good blokes. Bit of a shame that its just the couple in both sides that give them a bad name... and a hole in the changerooms! :x - GOod bunch of lads otherwise and played honest football. B lads put together some good play in patches and were unlucky in some patches too. Best of luck to yas

Yes it was pretty ordinary of Torrens Valley Saturday at Glenunga, brought their own stuff despite a roaring bbq and extra drinks provided due to 8 teams playing...

Just wanted to say congraulations to Fulham's B team for a great hard fought win was a great game to watch. Unlucky to parafield who put up a great fight, unfortanely doesnt matter how many chances you get in a game only matters if you put them in the back of the net :D

knights 3 - west beach 0

KNIGHTS DOMINATED THE GAME FROM START TO FINISH.. I DONT THINK YOU'D FIND ANYONE TO ARGUE WITH THAT.
WEST BEACH DID HAVE A COUPLE OF CRACKS... THE EMO GOALKEEPER MADE A FEW GREAT STOPS AND WAS SOLID ALL DAY.
WEST BEACH DROPPED BACK THEIR ONLY REAL THREAT IN JONNY MANCA - THANKS WEST BEACH COACH.

was not a good day for the A Team.

only highlight of the day was the B's recording there 1st win of the season.

Defintely season defining match against Inter this week for the A's - our last win was against Inter in round 3 and Inter have not won since Round 2 - will be a battle.

Thats 3 times in 2 topics you've mentioned that now Pecker head. Try getting your facts straight next time, I must have been dreaming that I was in your club with 3 other people from our club for 20 minutes after the game, drinking beers that had been purchased (not for the first time) from your bar. My aplologies for not hanging around longer to collect a drink driving charge. I cant speak on behalf of anyone else from the club who may not have gone in, that is their decision.

As for the results, Your A's were just too good for us, again.

Hey Handyman in case you didnt notice the B players used your bar/canteen after the game and to be honest i didnt find much difference in prices, unless paying one dollar less is a huge saving, i think you are the one that needs some tissues :( , if no one from the A's hung around i will admit that this is poor

Vista - Pumas: Vista really didn't play to the best of its ability however got the job done. Game was over at half time and unfortunately didn't become a goal fest, however chances were there, Robbi W was awesome once again for the Vista lads, in dominant form, looking awesome!!!! Ref was inconsistent, think thats the safest thing i can say ALL DAY!!! Those 2 words funny enough can now warrant a yellow card but kicking someone behind play don't get f**k all, confused??? funny that so am i!!!! Pumas, didn't stop trying, little Jack and Damian Babs great to play against again, all the best for rest of year!

35's Gullies vs Greenock 5-1 up
c's Gullies vs Eastern warriors 2-1 up
B's Gullies vs Pontian 4-1 up
A's Gullies vs Pontian 1-1 draw

B's - Knew were in for a big, hard and physical game. Took the kicks elbows and knees from the Pontian animals, just got on with the game and as our song at the end of the game says- We kicked their f##ken arse. Great win for the boys.

A's - Shite first half from Gully, good fighting second half, Game was played hard and reasonably fair (bar a kick in the head when player on ground) Won penalty in the 98th minute and put it away nicely. the final whistle blows and the vice president charges the ref claiming not a penalty (handball in the box is always a penalty) and asking how can there be 8-9 minutes extra time.i can tell why so much extra time, you were 1-0 up and every time the ball went out you tried to milk the clock, every time you had a free kick - send out the trainer, when you kicked our player in the head - 4 minutes extra time. It all addss up. The way he carried on was ridiculous, I understand a championship was on the line but if you were good enough and put more in the back of the net, the penalty wouldn't of mattered. Don't stress though coz we will take points off West Beach as well when they come to our ground.

Gully were shite in the first half cos eagles were good. lots of tricks and flicks from karapetis and had us on the back foot for long periods tho to be fair only had 3 good chances , big theo took one, hara had one well saved by danny and another flashed across the goal missing by not much. (we coulda got one inside 30 secs that their keeper saved onto our falling striker but went straight back to keeper),. second half coupla changes and it was game on and we were stationed in their half for long periods but to be fair didnt make their keeper work to hard. coulda got one with 5 to go maybe one other. definitely plenty of extra time due to 1) player kicked in head after freekick awarded , 2-3 minutes
2) Player elbowed in head had to be replaced 2-3 minutes
3) couple of other small stoppages and the ball was kicked well outta play.
Other than their chairman going off, good sportsmanship by eagles players at the final whistle coulda gone off if followed his antics.
Thought we were worthy of a point even if it did come at the death..
