National anthems.......

Bit of a long pause between the stanzas for the Australian national anthem - everyone thought it was the normal shortened version - then the second stanza started up.

The last time I heard the second verse sung was at the Sydney Olympics..

The only people who sing national anthems that badly are Kiwis! (when they sing it for the blooper reel)

Kewell waltzed past a defender then crossed in to Viduka who headed home. Very nice goal.

Used his pace to run onto the ball past two defenders and then hit a right foot shot from the edge of the box - keeper got his hand to it but could not keep it out. Decent goal without being spectacular.

Kewell looking very good for his 30 minute stint even though he was just waltzing through the game.

Very sluggish game by the socceroos,defense needs abit of restructures before asian cup cause singapore made few good breaks and had way to man chances at goals and thanks to Schwarzer and the goal post/bar that kept singapore scoreless.
Good to see Kewell back out their scoring goal and setting up Dukes 2nd one.
