Have you wathced him play for England?!?!? Did you watch him against Arsenal in the EPL (the one game i can remember off the top of my head)? For someone who NEVER gives the ball away, he sure did that quite a bit in just those instances... and passing backwardas and sidewards 98% of the time it shoudl be easy to NEVER give the ball away, but he still manages... if ManUSA didnt win the title in 07, mancs would be up in arms about his signing, but you did win it and will attribute the win to his CRUCIAL role in it. IMO his crucial role was that he didnt get the ball often enough, which was good for ManUSA.

its a tough question because whilst he's not worth 18 mil he had a super season at spurs before he left which is partly the reason why we paid over the top for him. id say he'd probably be worth 10-12 mil
