Toros are a very good team, but Blue Eagles have chance as well.
although after two silly games (Gawler and Para Hills B) they have been performing very well and if they did win those games they would have first position!
In the Gawler game we lost 3-2 and there was no official ref which had a huge impact. one of their goals; a player stood on goal line, literally, and tapped it in.
against para hils we lost 1-0 but played a much better game and had so many chances on goal.
anyway, if blue eagles put 100% rest of season they will definetely finish top three, possibly first.
This League is a fairly balanced league except for 1 or 2 teams

Juve 4 eva!
You'd have to say that ABE and Campbeltown would need a lot of luck to make it top from here with them needing 5 teams above them dropping 1 or 2 games. I have a feeling that ABE's better goal difference so far may be very important at the end of season. Still, I rekon that they might be on the edge of who can win with Strikers unlikely, needing an 3 extra wins to overtake the field. I notice that ABE and Campbelltown have not played Croydon yet, so these will be important games in the makeup of the table and also ABE v Comets and Campbelltown v Toros will see who is in the running by the season's midpoint. Strong comp with some entertaining talent spread among the teams!

...except for Campbelltown and Croydon so far. If Para Hills get top 2 they can't get promoted next season with an A grade side already. But a nice warm fuzzy feeling anyway if they do win, I guess! Hypotheticaly - if Para Hills finish top 2 in 15b's, does that mean that the 3rd place will get 17A grade next year?helllo joe wrote:PARA HILLS WILL WIN CAUES THEIR GUN

Speaking of Campbelltown and Croydon, results from Wednesday night game; Campbelltown 3 - Croydon 2.

Good point, HJ! So potentially if Para Hills and Campbelltown both get into the top 3 then 4th place in 15b's gets 17a's? That would mean for clubs wanting promotion (all of them!) their aim is to be the first two teams above PH and Camp and not just top 2. You could almost put Strikers in this equasion except that their 15A's are looking like B's next year - although there is a lot of season to go yet. Makes it a very interesting table to watch as the season continues!helllo joe wrote:cambelltown town cant go up either because they have a A grade side as well which mean croyden will go uphaggis wrote:...except for Campbelltown and Croydon so far. Thats right, Para didn't beat Croydon early in the season.....but you forget Para have beaten your team Toros (TWICE).Have you looked at the table toros para and gawler are qual 2nd but para couldnt beat the top team neither could gawler but toros beat them in cup 7-1 then 2-1 in league. (croyden being top)
As said previously very even Comp..

Best players from the league please tell me ur opinion
Croydon recently picked up a good player from Enfield
Croydon have a strong striker upfront Steve and middle of midfield is quite strong
Centre Mid from Comets had some brilliant skills and a good shot on him , also the kid with the afro was a strong centre back
Toros had 2 good strikers with a lot of flair Para hills Very good striker namedDylan Hayes i think and a very strong left footed player explosive player and runs through everyone also a strong sweeper at the back and Birkala have a player who looks about 20 and anyone got names of any of these players TELL ME WHO YOU THINK ARE THE BEST PLAYERS FROM ALL CLUBS IN THE LEAGUE

july 01 2007 (pinch and a punch for the first day of the month)
Croydon 1 - 2 ABE
A very well played game by both teams, first half both teams had chances and it was very close but it was Blue Eagles that could finish to make it 2-0 at half time.
second half game was a lot more interesting, there was some horrible decisions by the refs which would take to long to explain, but ABE had many chances even though they played very defensive, although it waqs croydon who cracked through ABE's fortress and got one goal back which wasnt too bad of a goal
Excellent game to watch
