Big ask for the boys down @ gardens. Havent won there for a few years now, but i do think gardens were a lot stronger in previous years.

Prediction Downs 3v1 Gardens
Cockerill 2, Hall 1 and own goal to Gardens

Hall been peppering for a few weeks now with some pivitol runs down the flank. Only hope he doesnt fall over at last hurdle this week, literally.

Any chance of some decent food this year other than your black and gold hamburgers. Looks like bourbon again and naff all to eat. Good luck to the gardens I reckon they might need it, But as you say it has not been a happy hunting ground for the Downs. Ross Taylor if playing to grab a fantastic hat trick and Stewie your ex biff presso to have his tradition threats but no balls to back them up.
There is no I in team, but there is a u in suck...

I know the bloke who has been playing sweeper for the Downs C grade personally. I think you may have the position wrong. The guy who plays sweeper is not a big fat due at all. He enjoys a beer from time to time, but not a big fat bloke. He speaks his mind quite a bit, and does lots of appealing for frees when they are there, but far from being a whinger! My opionion anyway.

Yeah, I am the sweeper at the back for the C grade team at the downs. Well have been since the start of this season. I know I do make alot of appeals for free kicks, but I rearely appeal for things if they are not there. Always good to ask the question though. Im certainly not a big fat bloke though, whom missed my whoppers for breakfast. I cant acctually think of a person you are thinking about, there may be one there but not sure if he played in the Easties game. Ive got a beer gut (small one) but Im not huge that you would call me fat from the side line.

The east game was weird as well, coz it was my old man who acctually was ref that game. Thought he had a night mare for both teams, let lots go, but pulled up lots of easy ones. He always gives me a hard time about things as well. All good though, at least he puts his hand up to do it. Got chopped in the Bs on the weekend and he just said play on. I actually thought the penatly I gave away in the East game was very weak one, but then when nothing was called when our striker got chopped in the box from behind, it was just play on. all part of the game though.

Would like to know who you acctually meant though, if it wasnt me, if it was me then im really insulted that you called me fat. If you come and watch us enough, I though you would have knows our names by now? And if you dont come that often, then why make a comment like you did, when all you have is one game to go on.

Actually izitcozimblack??, just looking at your previous posts and it looks like you have had quite a bit to with the downs over the past few years. I would be pretty sure you would know who I am if this is the case. Either me, or my family....

really curious as to who you acctually are?

Poor old rexie. I think "Fat" is a little harsh, he has been out with a bad knee injury for a year. Looking across the rest of the C's league he'd certainly be on the slim side of average.

Besides, he prefers quarter pounders to whoppers any day :P

Barry Dawson owns the greatest poker face of all time. It helped him win the 1983 World Series Of Poker despite him holding just a joker, a get out of jail free monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

Yeah Have put a bit of weight on. Thats what happens when your busy in real estate. I would not say that I was fat though. Especially in the C grade level!

Great to have Barry on the web now. Can give us all the advice on the art of........ anything he likes.

Great call Banya, that was a magic comment.

Barry Dawson can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves.

When Barry Dawson does a push up, he isnt lifting himself up, hes pushing the Earth down.

Somehow Barry Dawson thinks being Barry Dawson grants him first team squad status. This may be the one line The Cougar will ever stand in.
