Transfer rumours

There were claims Giuseppe Rossi would follow Claudio Ranieri to Juventus next season, but Rossi has ruled that out.
"Joining Juventus is just talk. I've read about it once or twice but it's not on my mind," he told the English media.
"All I will say is that my main goal is still what it always has been - to cut it with Manchester United."
Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi gave his view on the future of this precocious talent in Serie A.
“I am hopeful, as the player confirmed to me once more he intends to stay,†insisted the patron.
“We have spoken to the Manchester directors and are at their complete disposal to find a solution that suits everyone. We are now waiting and hoping.â€

I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

LAZIO WHISPERS PLEASE MESTO
Reggina ace Giandomenico Mesto admits he’s honoured with talk suggesting he could move to Lazio.
The versatile wideman, who can play in both defence and midfield, has been paired with the capital club and he’s underlined that he wouldn’t have any objection to the move.
“Every player would be happy to be paired with that club when you take into account what they have been doing of late,†noted the former Under-21 international.
“These rumours are words which are pleasing to hear. However, I haven’t really been told anything by Reggina and so I don’t know of anything concrete.â€
Born in Bari in 1982, Mesto started his career at Reggina back in the 1997-98 season when they were in Serie B.
He’s been at the club ever since apart from loan spells at Cremonese and Fermana between 2000 and 2002.
Mesto, who was close to joining Milan last January, has won two caps at full international level and nine for the Azzurrini.
It’s also understood that Liverpool are interested in the talent, as well as Spanish giants Valencia.
mesto would be a great addition to the team.

Lazio Target Amelia As Peruzzi's Heir
The Biancocelesti have decided to buy the Livorno keeper in order to take over from the spot left vacant by the retired Peruzzi.
President Claudio Lotito has decided that the only one who can fill up Angelo Peruzzi's shoes is Marco Amelia of Livorno.
Lazio have been looking around for a new goalkeeper since Peruzzi had announced he would retire from the football world at the end of this season and after a lot of research, especially in the South American market, Lotito seems to have finally made up his mind in signing Amelia from the Amaranti.
The Biancocelesti will have to beat the competition of Palermo who have also expressed their desire to sign up the goalkeeper who last season even managed to score a goal during a Uefa Cup match, but Lazio seem to have the advantage in this race thanks to the players they can offer to the Tuscan side.
Lotito is in fact ready to exchange one from Baronio, Belleri or Tare, players who are all appreciated by current Livorno Coach, Fernando Orsi.
More news are expected in the coming days, with Lazio hoping to seal the deal within the next few weeks.
Hope its not bullshit.

Yeah they were looking at Emerson but then they changed their minds due to Real Madrid trying to lure Kaka from behind their backs so Galliani said "We are not going to sign Emerson and we are not going to sell Kaka." "Kaka is not for sale."LFTWNG11 wrote:I heard Milan were looking at Emerson... and that they have disregarded Edmilson as they would rather give Gourcuff a run instead of paying for the brazilian.

Yeah, Torino were desperate for a DM since Janurary, even looking for older DM's to fill the role. Probably a week ago Grella would of been 95% sure of going to Torino. But Torino wanted to snap up Corini straight away, when he was free, so there was that wait to see whats happening. So now it looks like a Central duo of Corini and Grella, with Corini the player to push a little higher up we with possession.juventino_4_ever wrote:Grella ---> Torino?
same, hope its not bullshit, i would like us to buy as many quality eyetalian players as pssobile... with Orsi being coach at Livorno this shoudl help, he was Roberto Mancinis assistant at Lazio.Laziale wrote:Got this from Laziofever

Should be a busy night, as today is the day where co-ownership deals have to be decided on. If there is no agreement between the two clubs, a blind offer will be entered and the highest bid wins. Other clubs are there trying to negotiate prices for players as well, but its a hard job, trying to please both clubs.

Ok i'll keep you guys posted tonight
Juve buys out the 50% ownership of young gun Nocerino from Piacenza, thus making him 100% Juve's. I think $3.7 mil euro was the amount agree'd upon.
Torino and Roma couldn't agree on Comotto's future, possible blind vote to occur.
Quagliarella is going to the blind vote, as Samp and Udinese could not agree on a price.

Fredi Kanoute has revealed he wants a return to the Premiership and having enjoyed a spell under Pompey boss Harry Redknapp at West Ham, the Sevilla star would relish the chance to work for him again, this time at Portsmouth. The Mali goal ace will set the south coast club back by about £7million.
Bad news for Bolton fans: Sammy Lee is thought to be interested in hair model and sometime 'goal ace' Djibril Cisse. Given that few clubs would be willing to splash out the £8million Liverpool want, the France striker could go on a season's loan to the Reebok.
The Trotters are also looking to find a replacement for soon-to-depart keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, who is being tracked by Sunderland and Aston Villa, with Paddy Kenny and Scott Carson on the Trotters' radar.
Moving south, as Thierry Henry's future continues to be the subject of much speculation, his France team-mate Ludovic Giuly has labelled reports that he is helping the striker look for a house in Barcelona as "absolute bullshit".
Sunderland boss Roy Keane is after Wigan and England Under-21 international Leighton Baines, but the Scouse left-back won't come cheap and the Black Cats will have to stump up £6million to tempt Wigan to part with him.
Wigan themselves have been put on alert by Stephen Hunt's contract impasse with Reading; Chris Hutchings is monitoring the situation closely.
Eurosport.com's favourite interview giver Eric Djemba-Djemba could finally be on his way out of the Premiership - even though he has been with Burnley since January, he is still owned by Villa - with Portuguese giants Benfica the likeliest destination for the hapless Cameroon midfielder.
An interesting situation could be developing over at Manchester City (although, in fairness, it is ever anything other than that at Eastlands?). Sven-Goran Eriksson's agent has rubbished reports that his client met with representatives of prospective City owner Thaksin Shinawatra, while over in Spain, Fabio Capello's job is on the line, even though he has just brought the Liga title to the Bernabeu. Capello to enter into contention for the City job anyone? Stranger things have happened.
And finally, as brought to you in yesterday's TT, we revealed we would eat our hats if Craig Bellamy goes to Juventus. Fortunately a chow down is not on the cards after the Old Lady netted Vincenzo Iaquinta, effectively ending their interest in the wayward Welshman. Fortunately.
