The match against campbelltown v Adel hills today was ruined by the ref, the ref was meant to do the U12's game, but instead he was put for the U16s game, from the way he handled this game it was clear he could only ref an U12s game.
If a player is injured (e.g broken wrist) and the game is stopped, should extra time be given? this ref did not play extra time, he was to worried about collecting his cheque.
Very disappointing the way the game turned out, from previous encounters the game would have been a really good one.

lol, u/12's, as if they even let him ref that age level, those poor kids are probably getting scared for life cause of that dic.khead, with him shouting his head off. That referee should never be able to ref another game agian.
The ffsa might acutaly need to start having a bit of a background check on the refs they hire for a mental history, because this guy didn't seem all there in the head. He should seriously look into taking some anger management classes too cause he was getting pissed off at the campbelltown coach for trying to make a perfectly legal sub when adelaide hills had a corner.

All that you read is pretty much true Ref had no clue shouldn't even been at the u12 game in the first place. And I don't know why he didnt allow the substitution to take place when Adel Hills had the corner.
Doesn't it say in the rule book that a team is allowed to make a change when the ball is out or in a deadball situation. Come on ref only he will know why he didnt allow it to happen. The player who was planning to come off was already on a yellow, how about if he got sent off in that corner before he came off whos fault whould that have been? Interesting point?

I always thought that was the rule. If the ball has gone out of play a sub should be able to be made. The ref got aggressive against the coach and the sub was not made. I think he was having a mid life crisis. He was very aggressive against players and officials from both teams during the whole game.

I remember the incident the referee was asked by the campbelltown coach to make a sub a couple of times to get his attention. Then the ref turned around blew his whistle and said "just because the ball is not in your advantage you are not allowed to make a sub". Those were his exact words. Surely the campbelltown coach did everything within the rule book to make a legal sub at the time.
I missed most of the game but by the sounds of it the ref was a fair dickhead. the ffsa should stop these types of referees from ruining games. Good job to the campbelltown boys to hold a draw dispite the referees siliness.
Ps- thanks to "Pulse" for the considerate comments regarding the broken arm, much appreciated.
The arms not looking good, its plastered up past my elbow and that should result in me missing the rest of the season. It doesnt hurt much at the moment which is good but it will cause inconviniece for the next 6 weeks.
Is it true that bonny will be suspended for a few games due to his actions towards the refferee?
ye it a clean break through one of the main wrist bones. when i fell my hand was like pushed up and it wasnt really connected to the wrist so they had to push it into place then plaster it, so yer its season over for campbelltown_7.
yeh we do have a game this fri against modbury big fella.
we are really gonna miss u in that sweeping position. hope u get better soon champ. all the best.
On another note, I was informed that bonni's case has been taken to the tribunal. The ref apparently reported that that he only requested for the parents to leave the pitch when in fact he told her to piss off and get off the pitch in an agressive tone. This referee is one slippery customer and would love to see him get in trouble with ffsa because of all the shi.t he has caused the campbelltown u/16's outfit.

what a load of absolute shite! they're made at corners all the time in games right up to EPL standard.... (not having a go at you mattieg), but its fken crap if ref's dont allow them at corners...
as for C'town, what did the bloke actually get charged with? 18 games is a hell of a lot, i've see "assulting a referee" get less than that...
haha knocking the hat off his head would classify as assulting a referee... harsh but thats what happens. must have given him a fair spray to get 18 games tho!

Probably considered the same as pulling down his trousers and exposing him = Knocking off his hat to expose a knobhead
