Crows footballer to take Raptors training

Post by Popov vromgolarov »

Tomorrow night at Raptors park, all-australian footballer Nathan Bassett will be puting the Raptors boys through their paces.

This may include an aussie rules scratch match, so players bring your mouth guards.

Good on Raptors for getting him out. He is a very smart guy and has a degree in sports science. I'm sure they will get a few extra out to training and everyone might put in that little bit extra.

Have seen Nathan Bassett at a lot of Adelaide United games. Must be a closet supporter of real football! Obviously doesn't have any skill so decided to take up AFL.

was an excellent goalkeeper at junior level, has lots of friends amongst the raptors boys and often comes out to watch home and away.

The club isn't trying to gain much from the session other than to mix up training sessions a little, good timing considering that only one of our teams still remains in cup competition.

Well I've give training a miss tonight then.

Well that means no skills training tonight then!! :P

The only thing he can he can teach us is how to get cheap uncontested possessions across half back :P

How did we get onto the subject of Port????????

This thread is about some over rated back man that gets cheap uncontested possessions across half back with no one within 50mt of him..... Kick it to me I'm free.....quick kick it to me I need to get my stats up.

Surprised that his holiness would bring himself down to our level!!

sorry LFC, i'll only mention Port power when they're on a winning streak in the future, i know how sensitive you are on the matter and don't want to upset you...

Now could you get tredders on the phone and ask him to come down to raptors park next week to teach us how to shoot for goal :D

Aaah sh#t mention the power again

Talk all you like about the Power cause I know you love too.

Tredders is busy next week(he has goal kicking training) but I have just organised for Shaun Burgoyne to come tonight.......he's going to teach us how to hip & shoulder. His Holiness knows all about Jr Burgers bumps from a showdown from a few ago!!!!!

STARS STARS STARS STARS that's all his Holiness could see!!!! 8) 8)

So how was the training session boys...if he was there to learn more about zonal defence and possession football from the Raptors Coaching Staff, what did you do for the remaining 87 and a half minutes of your training session ( im assuming you train for 90 minutes there ) :) :) :)
