Survey for Bored Forum Readers

Post by cuptreble »

Attention bored forum reader, interested in filling out a short survey on the influence of money in soccer for a Year 12s PE assignment. Any respones would be greatly appreciated an can either be PM'd or reposted on this topic. Thank You

Do yu think money is hurting the big leagues in Europe especially England?

Do you think the new TV rights deal in England will help to bridge the gap between the top and bottom cubs?

Has money taken away the air of romance around the big leagues and cups? ie Millwall making the FA Cup final, Exeter forcing FA Cup replay with Man U

Do you think the foreign investment in the big European clubs is helping or degrading the standard of the clubs/leagues? ie the big 4 in England all under foreign control

Do you think there is a link between the recent strugles of national teams like England and Spain and the fact that their big clubs are under big money foreign control and due to their plays high money demands?

Do you think national team coaches have preferences for the players of the big top four clubs? ie continually playing Lampard for England when others appear in better form

Do yu think clubs focus on buying instant success is hurting the future and progress of national teams? ie Arsenal having no English players in Starting XI most of this season

Thanks again

Do yu think money is hurting the big leagues in Europe especially England? not when the money is earnt through on the pitch performance and club history - ie man utd, liverpool, arsenal.......not the chelski way..now that hurts football

Do you think the new TV rights deal in England will help to bridge the gap between the top and bottom cubs? depends how the money is spent, if spent wisely it could yes..

Has money taken away the air of romance around the big leagues and cups? ie Millwall making the FA Cup final, Exeter forcing FA Cup replay with Man U - no, because millwall and exeter proved it can still happen

Do you think the foreign investment in the big European clubs is helping or degrading the standard of the clubs/leagues? ie the big 4 in England all under foreign control - first of all the big 4 are not all under foreign control, arsenal for the time being is still controlled by the poms....but i dont think it is degrading the standard...i think it is increasing the standard...the standard of the premier league for example gets better each year...with smalller clubs being able to pinch players who dont get a chance at the bigger clubs anymore..

Do you think there is a link between the recent strugles of national teams like England and Spain and the fact that their big clubs are under big money foreign control and due to their plays high money demands? no - the problem lies in the coaches not the players....the spanish team and english team have some of the best players in the world, but they havent been managed well imo..

Do you think national team coaches have preferences for the players of the big top four clubs? ie continually playing Lampard for England when others appear in better form.....maybe...lampard should be picked based on his non-national form...but if he continues to play poorly on the international stage he should be dropped

Do yu think clubs focus on buying instant success is hurting the future and progress of national teams? ie Arsenal having no English players in Starting XI most of this season - i dont understand what arsenal have to do with this question....of all the big 4 we are the ones who the least have bought success...wenger has non-english players because we cant afford quality english players at their current prices...arsenal have built up success through clever purchasing over the years since wenger took charge....many of our current players cost little to nothing...

if you are refering to chelski buying instant success....then no it doesnt hurt the national team, it improves it, as chelskis contribution to the team in the form of lampard, terry, a.cole (although arsenals), j.cole - have all progressed in quality due to playing in a good team
