And has Greek-Aussie Ang saved his skin with a 4-1 win? Sure it was only at the lowly Tractor Boys, but a win is a win.
Oh, and Arsenal.

11 games to go (for most teams)
The title race is over and relegation battle down to only 4 teams (although Saints are already doomed)
Battle for top 4 is interesting but ultimately will be a fairly placid end to this season I'd suspect

Arsenal (choke, choke) will finish second, but anybody from 3rd to 10th could get the remaining two CL spots. Despite a great season, I just can't see Forest managing it and you'd think City would take one of those spots. A bit of a bunfight between the rest of them for probably one spot.

It’s times like these one’s mind wonders whether there should be a play-off between the top eight and a finale with a huge Grand Final occasion.

Very anticlimactic if Liverpool mathematically claim the title away at some obscure Club’s ground.

No there shouldn't. European leagues don't need australian mickey mouse competitions. League champions are just that - league champions.

Yeah point taken, Tran.

However full houses and a sense of occasion for A-League Grand Finals don’t seem to be all that ‘mickey mouse’.

And in England the playoffs for promotion from the Championship and other lower leagues look successful with huge crowds and a Wembley appearance.

I don't agree with those either. A trip to Wembley has been cheapened by this and FA Cup semi finals. In the leagues, third should either be promoted or play off against third bottom of the division above.

FFS, Postenoclue is a hopeless coach, we could, and perhaps should, have conceded about five to Bournemouth. Playing his 'style' of football with these players in this league is simply suicidal.

Goons lucky to come away with a point as well, stay humble Arteta ;-)

Always good when MU lose.
The Forest man’s ridiculous solo goal sends the Red Devils to a 13th defeat in the Premier League.

Well arsenal certainly don't want it.

Aussie NT ver 2.0

I thought he might be able to pull it off with full access to a squad.

But it just shows, you need the cattle, relative to your opponents, to pull off angeball.

Idealism and arrogance again his downfall.

He'll end up at a lower level, do well again, then strut around like he was right and everyone else was wrong

I cant see him getting another job in England. I don't think he knows a good player when he sees one either, as he's never worked with anything other than mediocre level players, hence why the recruitment has been so poor during his tenure.

Spurs' recruitment has, for the most part, been terrible for at least a couple of decades. Fans blame Levy for not spending enough, but in reality too much was being spent on the wrong players. If they hadn't had Kane coming through their academy, they'd be in the second division by now.
