playford lost to blue eagles 8-2 for some reason the unofficial ref put it down as 10-2 and that reason was he gave them 6 goals 3 off side and one that didn't even go into the goals... and another that was a dive in the box and in for a penalty. they were good goals just shouldn't have been... the other 2 goals were pretty good goals don't know bout the last 2 which made up ten i didn't even see them nor did anyone else at the park and playfords goals came from corners volley and header...cityforever wrote:any 16s results

Re: 14 a's
I was at the game - ABE did not play their main defender and all the fringe players got more game time and played from the kick off. It is also fair to say the goalie did not have a good game and some easy goals ( probably about 7 ) were bungled by the goalie.whynot wrote:14A'S
ABE 1 STRIKERS 12
Lets hope for the sake of the comp and the team this scoreline is not repeated!

First goal from (what I thought was not) an intentional back-pass.
The ball was bundled over the line from a striker in an offside position but the Playford linesman didn't call it.
There was a hole in the net, but from my angle I could not see whether it went in or not. Judging by the initial reaction of the Playford defenders, it went in. I was too far away to see the push for a penalty 2nd half.
4-0 at half time, second half I saw goals from a header, a penalty, a one-on-one down the centre, 2 from an acute angle on the right and one smashed in top left hand corner - that makes 10 I think.
For the Game. For the World.

I will try not to slag off a ref and will not have a go when a parent volunteers BUT the decision that the ref made at the Gawler v Campbelltown u12 game made was so wrong in 2 areas. A goal was scored by Gawler early in the 2nd half to level the scores. Gawler were celebrating and the C'town lads were disappointed when all of a sudden the ref yells "play-on". He did not consult the linesman. late in the game C'town secured the points with a 2nd goal. After the final whistle the ref then consults the linesman and adds the goal to the final score... you cannot do that!
Imagine if the final score was 1-0, would C'town have been happy for the ref to add a goal to the scoreline, I think not.
This was a enjoyable and tense top of the table clash ruined by a muppet!!

Absolutely correct... the club should write a letter to the FFSA about it...Makem Lad wrote:I will try not to slag off a ref and will not have a go when a parent volunteers BUT the decision that the ref made at the Gawler v Campbelltown u12 game made was so wrong in 2 areas.
