City will just chuck lawyers at the PL to tie them up in court for years to come, when you have a bottomless pit of money at your disposal the law is your friend.haywood djablowme wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 8:14 am Very quiet summer so far..

I fancy Spurs to finish above the Arsenal this season

Can't see him setting the world on fire, but should be good for 15-20 goals a season. We got rid of Royal is the best transfer.

Re: EPL 24/25
How good is Eze? Hard to believe that teams weren't knocking down Palace's door to pay his £60m release clause.
Or that the moronic Southgate didn't play him for England.

But his release clause had a time expiration and that has now run out. I suppose it's possible that Palace would let him go for less, but seriously doubt it.haywood djablowme wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 9:25 amHe is quality, clubs still sniffing around, especially when they want one of our strikersNice One Cyril wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 8:52 am How good is Eze? Ollie Watkins displaying why he is not Harry Kane's replacement. How the fuck did the Goons get away with that one?
I wonder if Haaland can apply for British citizenship, everyone else seems able to.

Yes he missed a sitter 1st half but great save by Raya on his 2 chance. Shows what quality keepers can do.. bar those chances we were by far the better side!Nice One Cyril wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 6:09 am Ollie Watkins displaying why he is not Harry Kane's replacement. Re: EPL 24/25
You had one chance in the first 70 minutes and were nowhere near the better team until you scored (somewhat fortuitously I might say), should have been at least one or two down by then. Good save yes, but Watkins headed it more or less straight at Raya. That Lucky Arsenal tag still suits.haywood djablowme wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 10:44 amYes he missed a sitter 1st half but great save by Raya on his 2 chance. Pickford was embarassingly slow, but couldn't be blamed for the others

Utd sell McTominay and keep Casemiro... for all their failed ins, some of the "who we keep vs who we sell" choices are what us really costing them.
For those saying "but McTominay isn't a 6..." sure, but he can run, and he can pass, so instantly he is an upgrade in Casemiro. Plus, Liverpool played with Gravenberch and Mac Allister as 2 pivots, neither considered a traditional 6.

It was soft and also inconsistent, which does annoy me, but I have to ask whether Rice has more than two brain cells. Once you're on a yellow, why would you give the ref any opportunity to send you off? I can't imagine Arteta being too pleased.haywood djablowme wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 5:24 pmCreaming it, just like a Ashton-under-Lyne Greater Mancheter born and bread official going home smiling after sending off an Arsenal player again.. 9 times now & counting.!Nice One Cyril wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 5:32 pmYou must be stoked getting Sterling, I know you've always creamed yourself over himhaywood djablowme wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 11:37 amNeto to Arsenal

Great win by the Arsenal over that f*****g Australian bum named Ange and his Totteringham.
Arsenal now second on 10 points, with what’s-their-name stuck at 13th on 4 points.

Re: EPL 24/25
Morning arsehole Yeah, I like the intent of Ange's team, but we're simply too easy to score against. Could have been give as a foul, but would have been soft, if you turn your back on the player you're marking, expect him to take advantage. Frankly, unless Vicario gets stronger, it's going to keep happening, it was four yards out.
Good to see Gillett giving out cards like confetti, maybe could have given a red to Timber, there was no need for his foot to be over the ball, but that would have been soft as well.

3 clean sheets in 4 games shows are defence is solid again! Allowed you to have the ball with limited chances created.
