In 2009, more specifically on December 1, Leo Messi lifted his first Golden Ball after winning all possible titles with FC Barcelona.
A season that appealed to the Barça team to be named one of the best of all time and to Argentina the future of football.

The Argentine player Lionel Messi won the 2019 Golden Ball on Monday, his sixth prize, with which he managed to undo the five-way tie he had with the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.

Georgina Rodriguez, girlfriend of the famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, stepped forth to send a message of support to her boyfriend, calling him "brave" and "unstoppable", as his rival, Lionel Messi, went on to win his sixth Ballon d'Or award. :shock: :shock: :shock:
Luka Modric is the new Golden Ball, The winner of this Golden Ball will end a decade of duopoly between Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, with five awards each since Kaká reached the prized trophy in 2007.

messi maybe better than ronaldo but it must be said ronaldo has at least conquered epl , la liga and serie a
I may not be perfect but I'm still the closest I have ever come across

The Ballon d'Or must be the most woke award in any sport. Messi is great but playing in a superannuation comp now.
