Re: ODI cricket world cup
How do the finals work. Is it 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3. Anyone know?
You don't want to be in that latter match. I think the winner is either India or NZ.

Re: ODI cricket world cup
Baz isn't the coach for the England limited overs team .. Matt Mott ( Australia ) is the coach

People applauding the Taliban side for punching above their weight. Strange world.
Didn't we ban them from playing a test here?

They might, just might, get a win against Netherlands in their last game. Could be a close one looking at the ladder.

Re: ODI cricket world cup
What an effort, considering he was cramped up and totally couldnt run, let alon stand on 1 leg.
The aussie bowlers are absolute rubbish, Starc needs to go home asap.
India will totally destroy him in the finals!

Re: ODI cricket world cup
Full marks to Maxwell. Credit to Cummins for staying 68 balls. Hazelwood bowled beautifully.
BUT
Inglis is not the man for the job. Carey to come back.
Starcs bowling needed a Captain to say anything short or wide is what this bloke wants. Full and straight.
Stoinis brought on to bowl, bowled one good over and it was evident that they found him hard to get away. Bowl him again.
Abbotts fielding does not let him be the sub.
Don't engage in minutes long stoushs with a bloke who's sole aim is to get inside your head. He did. He won.

Re: ODI cricket world cup
to put Maxi inning in perspective
There have only been 11x ODI double centuries.
264 - Rohit Sharma - batting at #2
237 - Martin Guptil - batting at #1
219 - Virender Sehwag - batting at #2
215 - Chris Gayle - batting at #2
210* - Fakhar Zaman - batting at #2
210 - Ishan Kishan - batting at #2
209 - Rohit Sharma - batting at #1
208* - Rohit Sharma - batting at #1
208 - Shubman Gill - batting at #2
201* - Glenn Maxwell - batting at #6
200* - Sachin Tendulkar - batting at #1
Maxi batting at 6 is truly remarkable.
These would have been some innings. Maybe not if you're on the receiving end.

Mayor o Hiroshima moment (WTF was that)for Starc, just walking for caught behind when he didn't nick it. .
