Sun Premier - My money's on Gardens & Unley to go down. Farm's home ground advantage to help them wriggle out of trouble.
Div 2 - West Beach also in the mix, but each of the promotion candidates would struggle to stay up unless squads strengthened.

Re: Promotion / Relegation 2024
For the last couple of seasons more than the regular 2 teams have been promoted in differing divisions through the dissolving of clubs or movement to Saturday from Sunday (or vice versa) Any rumors to the future of current clubs heading down a similar path this season into next?

Pretty strong talk around of Ghan moving from SAASL Sunday div.1 to SL.Barnesy Wore 10 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 10:41 am For the last couple of seasons more than the regular 2 teams have been promoted in differing divisions through the dissolving of clubs or movement to Saturday from Sunday (or vice versa) Any rumors to the future of current clubs heading down a similar path this season into next?
Similar talk of Elizabeth Grove wanting a move from SAASL Saturday Div.1 to SL. This one's been around since the move to Saturdays and if true I think they've laid themselves a great foundation with the foresight

That rumour has been around the past 5 years ...lets see if they get through this season with no issuesLUFC_MOT wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 11:07 amPretty strong talk around of Ghan moving from SAASL Sunday div.1 to SL.Barnesy Wore 10 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 10:41 am For the last couple of seasons more than the regular 2 teams have been promoted in differing divisions through the dissolving of clubs or movement to Saturday from Sunday (or vice versa) Any rumors to the future of current clubs heading down a similar path this season into next?

Would be disappointing if they had a U17 player in FSA then playing SAASL under a different name .. but would never happen surelyLUFC_MOT wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 8:45 pmVery valid point..bloodypassit wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 1:14 pmThat rumour has been around the past 5 years ...lets see if they get through this season with no issuesLUFC_MOT wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 11:07 amPretty strong talk around of Ghan moving from SAASL Sunday div.1 to SL.Barnesy Wore 10 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 10:41 am For the last couple of seasons more than the regular 2 teams have been promoted in differing divisions through the dissolving of clubs or movement to Saturday from Sunday (or vice versa) Any rumors to the future of current clubs heading down a similar path this season into next?

Re: Promotion / Relegation 2024
Elizabeth Downs will win it again they have a quality side. I heard there was a incident yesterday there no.6 charged a player from behind and step on his back while they were 2 nil up. Referee didn't see it of course, and went to the downs linesman and only gave him a yellow. Apparently there is footage so I like see what happens, probably nothing.

Re: Promotion / Relegation 2024
Angle Vale 10 points clear. back to back promotions all but guaranteed and undefeated since rd.1 last season.. the second promotion spot is much tighter with only 3 points between Modbury, West Beach, Elizabeth Vale and Southern knights.BeNatural wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 11:20 am Just over half way of the season.

Div.1 relegation is a real scrap between the bottom 4..
Lots on the line for the run in, will make things exciting for all.
