Unbelievable that a club and players would go to this length, also curious to know how they found this out
RE: Ghan Kilburn – Under 17 JPL C Breach of Rules and Regulations
Football South Australia investigated the eligibility of three (3) Ghan Kilburn Under 17 players. The investigation
found the Players had registered with false information on PlayFootball and participated in the Under 17 JPL C
and Under 17 Cup competitions this Season.
The three (3) players and Club were found to be in breach of Rule 61 and 62 of the Football SA Competition
Rules and Regulations. The breaches for the players are listed below:
Player 1
• Registered with a false name and date of birth (overage)
Player 2
• Registered with a false date of birth (overage)
Player 3
• Registered with a false name.
Football SA has determined Ghan Kilburn is guilty of serious misconduct for the above listed breaches in
accordance with the Rules and Regulations.
Ghan Kilburn have been issued with a $1,000 fine and immediately removed from the Under 17 JPL Competition
for the 2023 Season. In addition, the Club has been placed on a bond until the end of the 2026 Season for any
further breaches of serious misconduct. If the Club is found guilty of serious misconduct during this period, it
will be fined $1,000 for a first offence in that Season, and if found subsequently guilty in the same Season, the
team will be immediately removed from that competition.
The three (3) Players have been deemed to provide false and misleading information to Football SA on their
PlayFootball registration and have each been sanctioned ten (10) matches in line with the table of offences.
All results against Ghan Kilburn in the U17 JPL C competition will be null and void. In regard to the Under 17 Cup
competition, due to the format and stage of competition, the progression of Clubs to the Cup Final will remain.

Would be disappointing if they had a U17 player in FSA then playing SAASL under a different name .. but would never happen surely

Re: Ghan
Not much of a penalty if they consider it guilty of serious misconduct. Not the first of "naughtiness" from the club either.Rookie wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 11:05 am Unbelievable that a club and players would go to this length, also curious to know how they found this out
