Re: Ashes 2023
Good win in many ways.
Lost toss, bat last on a road pitch.
Highest run chase for us in 50 years over there.
Bazzball tactics created uncertainty in many areas (field placements, strategies etc)
Boisterous home crowd.
Finally get up in a close one after so many close losses in recent times.
On to the next test and no doubt english tactics to continue and will provide more entertainment, which is good for test cricket.

Love him or hate him you have to admire Broad for always wanting the ball in his hand. Compare that to old pea heart Jimmy who with the game on the line and a new rock he squibbed it and handed the responsibility over to a park trundler.
Weak as piss
5 of our top 6 batters did stuff all and we still won, once they click we will brain these hacks

Smith and labuschagne contribute 35 runs in total yet still won....

Most English don't care about australia and see them as plucky colonials.

Australia is well down the list of our "rivals", you're not significant enough.

Youd have to be at least close to being as good as us to be rivals and since youre not even close to being as good as we are you couldnt be our rivals.

Considering we are the top test nation England is only one of many rival wannabees trying to challenge us.Cooper wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:18 pmI actually agree with this comment that we arent your rivals.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:46 amJust Dave now wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:30 amwhat a load of bull cabernetGod is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:23 amA one sided comment though. Thought it would be pretty obvious that we are talking about Australia VS england test cricket in an Ashes thread but i do understand that its a concept that you are struggling with.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:50 pmAre you talking about cricket, sport, economy, world power, military or something else?Cooper wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:18 pmI actually agree with this comment that we arent your rivals.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:46 amJust Dave now wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:30 amwhat a load of bull cabernetGod is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:23 amA one sided comment though.
