Strikers admitted to bringing down 19s and reserve players but i dont think thats what won them the game. They did play some good football and had a couple of good players but....
Para Hills made Strikers look good by playing the worst game they've played (as a team)so far this season.
Im sure if that same game was played on any other day the scores would be reversed.

PS....the second yellow shouldnt have been a free at all but the first yellow should have been a straight red.

Will be interesting to see the scoreline next time these teams play.

Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season.

:?: :?: :?: :?: Worst game we've played? I don't think so. Having said that, a full compliment of players, fit or otherwise, would have been handy

Angus duker who plays Birkalla 19s
Sanjin J. who plays for Strikers 19s
Kosta Mastromahalis who plays Strikers reserves

Andrew Harous who plays Croydon 19s

Probly would be there top 4 players not in any order

This is from another forum but notice the Koasta Mastromahalis bloke. Pretty sure he played tonight for the 17s. N doesnt it say reserves up there. MMMM Bit of a mystery
rabbit and a.unknown if i were you ,, i'd be asking why some of your better under 17's arent being played at a higher level ,, is it about winning a championship or about player develpoment ?

Para Hills are pretty much the leading club when it comes down to junior development and players playing at a higher level, they have exceptional juniors all the way through in their club, and its a credit to the club that the players thta could be playing 17s are playing 19s and ressies and not moving down, yet they still have the players to remain extremely competitive.

I find it surprising that the game could not have had a FFSA ref, I thought only the u12's didn't get proper refs. The sending off was joke, the Para lad hardly touched the keeper, it was only the defender screaming like a banshee at the ref that got the result. I don't think the keeper saw it as a bad tackle in fact he got up and jogged back to his goal as soon as the free kick was awarded. 8)
What do you mean...not an FFSA ref. We were not told about that. Who was he then? Can anybody enlighten me?
Apparently he is the Western Strikers junior delegate. :!: :!:

surely the point is that Para were beaten by a team of their own age group. Whether they are being dropped down or not is irrelevent. And Rabbit...as you are the coach of the Para Hills team, surely you should show a bit of humility, grace and maturity, and stop harping on like a teenager because you lost.

hu ever said that only 2 19s players were drop i think cant count ive been to that club a few times, trained there for various reasons, and i could count 5-6 players hu i would suspect to be playing 19s. all well and good to drop them for mid week games but when it comes to the weekend ull find it hard to win ur games with a inconsistant squad.

im with you on that one doctor toon para hills should cosider a rematch and with card checks b4 the game then well see who wins. that way there will be no whinging involved for the team that loses

Better squad won on the night...no dramas there. Shook hands with their Coach and some players at the end of the game but unless you were there and know what the real issues are, you will never understand.

:P

think someone is trying to wind up Rabbit eh FF ?

Seniors are just that, hopefully. Rise to the occassion, when required.

Football Freak, do you know the difference between Juniors (U12's to U17's) and SENIORS U19's and above ?

I doubt it
