You asked eagleboy why he can consider one(club) being good and the other bad and this is at first glance appears a decent and valid question.
The only trouble I have with this is that you have stated several times that this is the case (one good and the other bad).
You have denied several times on this forum of being a hypocrite, this proves you are.
Irrelevant of your opinion, you can't bend it to suit your narrative.
I have a strong opinion on the matter but I don't want to repeat the history lesson to you again- it would take me too long and you will be too busy swearing the King's allegiance this weekend. Utter nonsense that they have to drum up public support to pretend how popular they are.
its just a bloody game you idiots. just go to the game and watch the entertainment. someone will lose, forget the sectarial shit that does no one any good, people once thought football would stop wars. Celtic v Rangers is NEVER just a game and this is UNFORTUNATE. I would love to say whatever happens on the park gets left on the park and we can all hug and make up afterwards. Far too deep rooted and complex for someone to say 'it's just a game'.
Men's hate of each other will exist forever and the history between the UK (namely England) and Ireland is volatile to say the least.
I am not backing the bigots here, just merely calling it the way it is.
Anyone got a magic wand to make all the hate disappear?
I just want one example of a hypocritical comment. Of coirse you can say that one side is good and one is evil. People will have different opinions on that. That is not intolerance in the slightest.thebeautifulgame wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2023 4:38 pm Seems to be an echo chamber in here- read what you have written and then decide if you are a hypocrite or not.
I will make it simple for you(again).
You can't claim that one club is better (or less evil) than another but then dispute this with someone else as being incorrect.
You can try and wriggle out but you can't- just accept it and move on.
You have argued in the past that Rangers are good and Celtic evil, so it is logical someone from a different background can argue Celtic are good and Rangers are evil. This is called a difference of opinion and both should be open for discussion if you believe either of these statements to be true(I personally don't).
This again demonstrates your intolerance of people from different backgrounds who do not agree with you.
You can have the final say on this (you usually do) but it won't change a thing.

After viewing the replay, the Ref believed he had made an obvious mistake which he corrected. He couldve stuck with his original decision.....VAR working as it should....Re: Rangers v Celtic

A negative from last night was the VAR sending off of a Hearts player. Technically correct but in the spirit of the game no. The ref had already given a yellow card to the Hearts player. VAR should only get involved if its clear and obvious mistake. I am not sure in this case. That decision changed a good match.
Yeah, I'm often critical of VAR, but so long as they don't overrule the onfield ref, simply refer him back to the monitor, I'm happy to go with the onfield decisions.MegaBonus wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 9:57 amAfter viewing the replay, the Ref believed he had made an obvious mistake which he corrected. Not that often I disagree with eagleboy but I have to agree with MegaBonus. VAR was right to ask the Referee to review his original decision and correct sanction(send-off)was then applied. Hearts started very brightly, Celtic defended stoutly and yes the send-off definitely influenced the game.MegaBonus wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 9:57 amAfter viewing the replay, the Ref believed he had made an obvious mistake which he corrected. I just thought it was harsh considering it was a slight tug on Daizen and the ball was not at his feet when running through so imho it was a not clear scoring opportunity was probably not in the spirit of the law as I see it. No one would have complained with a yellow.thebeautifulgame wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 3:50 pmNot that often I disagree with eagleboy but I have to agree with MegaBonus. It will be interesting to see if Ange introduces a couple of youngsters/fringe players to start next week against Rangers as ultimately it is a dead rubber, though it won't be played out that way.
I would be tempted to rest Kyogo and Hatate by bringing in Oh and Turnbull with Haksabanovic getting more playing time from the bench. Either way I have total confidence in Ange as he will never play a game without the desire to win it.
Congratulations to Ange and the Bhoys on their most recent success.

This reply to the tweet covers it about right.
"Last man. Professional foul to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity. Ref hasn’t seen it in live play. VAR draws his attention to it. Ref gets benefit of a second look. Makes his final decision based on the rules of the game. There really is no case to counter it."
