Burnley and Sheff Utd joining next year
And then either
Luton
Middlesborough
Coventry
Sunderland
West Brom
Blackburn
OR
MILLWALL
to join them.
The FA will be shitting themselves that it could be Millwall.

Well, English is my second language (only a lousy ‘B’ in Year 12 Matriculation in ye very olde days), but the way I interpret your latest post is that you’re clinging to a chance that your Millwall will clamber into the EPL and all that loot.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 9:35 amI know. ps, I haven’t been to London Town for many a year. Is the New Den acceptable for EPL football to the toffees in charge of the Premier League?

Yes, the Den is perfectly compliant. Kenilworth Road isn't though.
I hope we make the play offs, doesn't mean I agree with them though.

If ya wanted to stay in the Matriculation 5A class you had to keep French e Latin. Otherwise you had to drop down to lowly 5C or 5D if you preferred history as a subject. I should have preferred history!

For those saying Jota should have gone (are any of you qulified refs?), as proven, it's a not. a red card offence all the time - so you can all get back in your box.

I say he could have gone - not clear cut (I know he cut the opponent). Re: EPL 22/23
VAR is simply not fit for purpose whilst referees use the 'clear and obvious' wording to weasel out of contradicting their onfield colleagues. Any decision that is game changing, where there is any doubt, the VAR should always refer the ref to the monitor. No point having all the cameras and a monitor if you just don't use them.Victoria's Secret wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 7:01 pmI say he could have gone - not clear cut (I know he cut the opponent). As for handball, Leicester got one this morning that Maddison missed, that I cannot see should have been handball. Fired at the defender from 5 yards away when his hand was at waist level, yet again the VAR waved it through.

Klopp charged by FA:Victoria's Secret wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 6:25 pmThey agreed with Tierney. i still dont think VAR has improved the game, but the ref, assistants and VAR all thought yellow so it did its job.Nice One Cyril wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 5:35 pm My real gripe is the useless VAR.
Their only criteria for getting involved should be 'does doing nothing have the potential to make us all look like incompetents idiots?cheap and nasty and on this occasion, as so many others where they say nothing, the answer is a resounding yes.
If they send Tierney to look at the monitor and he still thinks it's only a yellow, I'd disagree, but would be happy to accept that everyone has done their job.
Mason and Klopp were both out of order afterwards IMO
"It is alleged that the manager's comments regarding the match official during post-match media interviews constitutes improper conduct in that they imply bias, and/or question the integrity of the referee, and/or are personal/offensive, and/or bring the game into disrepute," the FA said.
To be honest Klopp is not on his own and behaviour towards match officials by mangers in general needs to be cleaned up.
