Great win. excellent game in difficult conditions. Did the simple things. The one per centers. Team effort.

Only one game at a time.

Often when u play against "weaker" opposition u generally tend to relax a bit as u know that ur competition isn't as good. Scrappy football is generally played coz u know u can get away with it. Games against tougher opponents u are less likely to lose focus as u must be on ur toes for the entire 80 mins.

I think last nights result for SASI was a very encouraging one. Granted I did not see the performance and cannot judge as to whether SASI could have won by more or less I think that the ability to put 10 goals away against a team who were most probably playing very defensive minded football is a fantastic effort.

Conceeding 1 isn't ideal after scoring 10 but crap happens.

Instead of bringing to attention ladder positionings why not give credit where it is due. For all we know this is the little edge SASI girls may need to lift their confidence and keep the good results coming

Good to hear that something good came out of the win. I just wanted to keep it in perspective AND continue the good work AND win again AND again AND beat City!

Very defensive. At one stage I counted 6 players lined up like a wall in the back & the ball spent most of the time in the Seaford half.

SASI did miss a few easy goals after they had beaten the defenders & were one on one with the goaly, I'll give the goaly due credit for those

Generally all our games are wednesday nights at santos however we do not have a game this coming wednesday. shuld have on the following or if ur really keen we are playing in Pt. Pirie on the 16th of june lol!!

despite the fact that the girls are sitting near the foot of the table and that they only played seaford, they played some very good attacking football.
the passages of play between Vikki and Greta were very good. Greta's passing was top level with each one angled and weighted perfectly. Vikki was clinical each time she got through. a lot more speed than i thought she had. boys couldn't catch her. but the movement and timing between the two would destroy most defences.
MJ had a few chances she should have put away but more games and confidence will see her scoring for SASI as she does for Fulham.
Papa as always was very calm and controlled, would like to have seen her in the middle just off Greta and Vikki. three very good footballing brains and high work rates.
most impressive was the calmness of Tanya and Kirralea who in the past have been know to pump the ball forward all the time. wednesday night saw them playing very calm controlled balls to full backs and centre midfielders. this makes the biggest difference as it doesnt create 50/50 air balls but keeps possession. well done to those two, they are starting to show a good level of maturity on the park.
all in all the defensive pressure caused early turn overs through winning the tackle or forcing a bad touch/pass out. this allowed SASI to keep possession for long periods and create numerous chances.

keep the same principles and work rate for the year and they'll certainly start causing more hassels for the other teams.

thanks but i think that luck has nuffin to do with it.. the last two times sasi have played them they have been competitive.. yer ok they didnt get a great result.. u neva know what can happen in soccer!

arent cumberland one of the best teams???

i know losing isnt a good result any time - but 3.0 is a pretty good result (providing im talking about the right cumberland side lol)
