Final will be Morocco v Croatia
Argies showed their arrogance in the QF, much like the Brazilians against SK
France has had an easy run through the Cup and hasn’t been tested, Morocco will be a shock.
Take that to the bank
Well half that prediction was wrong.
The other half of the prediction remains to be seen tomorrow if Morocco’s passionate support can carry them over the reigning World Cup holders. Will their defence be able to hold out Mbappe?
As for Argentina’s QF against the Netherlands I enjoyed that intriguing game. It was war. 17 yellow cards with both skippers, Lionel Messi and Virgil van Dijk, amongst those booked.
Argentina survived that maelstrom and the next test in the Semi-Final.
They also now get an extra day’s rest than France or Morocco will before the weekend’s World Cup Final.
See Cyril? Vanilla Arena also got the second half of it’s prediction wrong.

France versus Argentina in the Final.
As always, you are completely correct, he's a useless kaarnt

About putting the opposition under pressure is how mistakes are made, particularly by defenders. I'm sure if you guys won the final due to a 'couple of mistakes' by the opposition you wouldn't care too much. Sublime goals are wonderful but sometimes winning ugly is all that matters.
Taking friendlies out of it because they mean diddly squat, who of any note have England beaten in the last six years and who have they lost to or drawn with? The ledger is not in Gareth's favour.
Winning is all that matters, second is nowhere. Period. However, a team that consistently plays consistent quality football will generally win a darn sight more than they lose, even though you'll always get the occasional unexpected result. England have been a lesson in drudgery and under performance under Gareth, which I could accept if we had Scotland's squad, but we have some of the best players in the world being stifled by awful management.
Southgate did nothing until we went a goal down again, then in the 79th minute reacted by putting on Mount who’s not in form for England and wait for it……. yes fucking Sterling, an ordinary player in very ordinary form just flown in from London so hasn’t even trained all week, Grealish & Maddison still sat on their arses. This after six long, long years, how can anyone say he isn’t a man who has reached the limit of his ideas.

His subs made no sense and made no impact.
Time for Southgate to move on , he clearly does not know how to get the best out the squad.
France had a pretty quit game & were outrun by the Moroccan's ,now that's what big teams do ,don't give it your all & still win .I am afraid my Croats will not have an easy game for third place.

Just wanted to add my congratulations......
For first time in history (according to UK outlets) not a single England fan has been arrested at the WC......
The alcohol was in short supply and too expensive.
On a more serious note if you were sober would you be brave enough or stupid enough to cause trouble in Qatar?
I think most of the undesirables did the right thing by not going.

I hate to cheer for the French, but I dislike the Argies even more.

Hope the Argies can do it, have no allegiances but love what Messi has done for this wonderful game
I would echo your sentiments- nothing against the French but would be the perfect time for Messi to retire from international football with a win. He has been the most wonderful footballer in recent times. Ronaldo runs him close but for me Messi is pure genius and is not all about himself.
Whatever happens I hope it is a classic final and the best team wins on the day.

Admired what 37-year-old Luka Modric and his team achieved.
But try these stats:
2022 Uruguay population 3,422,794.
Two World Cup crowns.
15(!) Copa America crowns.
And Straya’s 2006 World Cup golden generation beat Uruguay in the Qualifiers for that 2006 Tournament fair and square.
Why oh why do some on FB news so deride little Straya’s achievements? Are they posting from Zagreb or London?
Uruguay hasn't won a world cup for over 70 years, and there first win in 1930 only 13 teams turned up
a lot more people play the game now and there are a lot bigger countries in population than in 1950
Australia didn't beat the 1950 Uruguay team, it beat one of the worst Uruguay teams in transition in the past 50 years.
