CHELSKI DONE SPENDING...SO LAMPARD'S OFF TO JUVE
As it says elsewhere on this site, Roman Abramovich has reportedly told Chelski he will no longer spend his billions on the club.
The Russian owner has, according to The Sun, decided that he no longer wants to be a key decision maker and believes the club should operate as a proper business - meaning they will have to generate their own transfer budget like most other clubs.
Abramovich has also insisted on a wage cap - meaning no new bumper deals for John Terry and Frank Lampard. And that means Lampard could be heading off to the continent.
'Italian giants Juventus are leading the chase for Lampard after his contract negotiations with Chelsea reached deadlock' says the Daily Mirror.
'The England midfielder can leave Stamford Bridge this summer for a cut-price £9million under new FIFA rules.
'Lampard and his advisers want parity with Chelsea's top earners Michael Ballack and Andriy Shevchenko, who are on £121,000 per week.
'Blues lynchpin Lampard, who is on £95,000 per week, made it clear after the FA Cup Final win over Manchester United that he wants to pledge the rest of his career to Chelsea - but the club are refusing to increase their offer.'
Chelski themselves are hoping to bring in three new players in the summer, but won't splash the cash on transfer fees as they have in the past.
Steve Sidwell has already joined on a free transfer from Reading with Claudio Pizarro of Bayern Munich set to do likewise, while Brazilian defender Alex will join from PSV in July for a fee of one dollar.
HEINZE CLOSE TO MADRID MOVE
Gabriel Heinze is reportedly close to joining Spanish giants Real Madrid.
According to The Sun, the Argentina World Cup star flew to the Spanish capital on Saturday to discuss the move.
And Real chiefs are convinced they will make him one of their summer signings.
They want him to replace Roberto Carlos, who is being released after 10 years at the Bernabeu.
Heinze said: "I am convinced that if a good offer arrives then Manchester United will let me go."
POOL STRIKERS BEG TO STAY
Craig Bellamy, linked with a move to Aston Villa over the weekend, and Peter Crouch, likewise with Newcastle, both insist their future lies with Liverpool.
But the Gossip Column reckons that, if Rafa gets the cash he wants, they'll be told to do one.
SPURS IN DANGER OF GETTING GOOD
They've signed a decent left back for the first time since...erm...have Spurs ever had a good left back?
They insist they're hanging on to Dimitar Berbatov.
And now they're apparently favourites to sign Portuguese wonder-kid Nani.
'Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and sporting director Damien Commoli will meet with Sporting Lisbon this week to try and beat United to sign 20-year-old Nani.
'The player has been a target for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who believes he could develop into the next Cristiano Ronaldo.
'But now it is Martin Jol and bigspending Spurs who have stolen a march on United as they look to follow up the £10m signing of Southampton left-back Gareth Bale, 17, with a swoop for Nani and Charlton's £10m-rated striker Darren Bent.'
AND THE REST
Everton have joined Aston Villa in the hunt for Portsmouth's £5million-rated left-back Matt Taylor...New Leicester manager Martin Allen is set to make Radostin Kishishev one of his first signings...Wigan will open talks to bring former Chelsea and Birmingham defender Mario Melchiot back to the Premiership from French club Rennes...Newcastle midfielder Nobby Solano is set to stay at the club for one more year...Celtic have tied up defender Jean-Joel Perrier Doumbe on a three-year deal.

Good to see we have some rumours that people care about instead of some Italian player no one has heard about and is not even good.
I think Tottenham will finish above Arsenal this season, if they can keep Berbatov they will do better than Henry and Arsenal.
I have heard on good authority Zaltan Imbrahimovic will be on his way to the white house! Also Emerson to AC Milan, I hope we can get De Rossi from Roma.

Rigoni please stop crying because of my prediction. Its pretty obvious if Arsenal don't buy some quality players that Tottenham will overtake them in the top 4. OK Arsenal have some good youth players, but in all honesty youth can only take you so far, and you don't have the quality of players in the age group of 25-29 to be consdiered a title threat, no matter how much you try and dillude yourself its the case. You will also need to desperately hold onto Fabregas, because he is you only decent central midfielder. He may be on his way to the white house in good time.
P.S. You can have Reyes back.

ok....if we dont have any quality players why did we beat u guys 1-0 last year???? and our squad has hardly changed since last year...
if ur sayin we need 2 buy quality players ur sayin Henry, RVP, Rosicky, Fabregas, Gilberto, Toure, Eboue, Clichy and Gallas for example arent quality????
i tell ya right now Madrid would kill for 3-4 of those players on that list
the reason why we did shit wasnt cause we dont have quality...but because we had many injuries which lead to no Henry and RVP and no goals cause Adebayor couldn't do it all by himself...spurs will NEVER overtake us

Anyone know what happened to the transfer rumours about Fernando Torres? He's a bloody gun at Atletico and I reckon a transfer to England will get him even more recognised. But if Atletico make it into Europe next season then he'll stay i reckon.
Seeing as though I'm a Madrid fan I'd have to say that with Beckham leaving in 3 weeks along with Reyes who will probably go, we'll most likely sign a strong central midfielder in the coming season. (Rule out Kaka and Christiano Ronaldo) So yeah if there's any rumours or news about Real Madrid in the next few weeks, be sure to post it up!
Cheers guys

Lazio linked with defender Raggi of Empoli... He seemns like a solid defender... could replace the aging Siviglia. Also for the midfield we have been linked to Ascoli midfielder Simone Pesce, this bloke is garbage, hopefully only a typical rumour.
Bianchi will be at Lazio next seaon... rest assured people!

I will take it if full ownership of foggia is involved in the deal.LFTWNG11 wrote:Lazio linked with defender Raggi of Empoli... He seemns like a solid defender... could replace the aging Siviglia. Its accepted in Lazio circles that the promise of Foggia to Reggina permanently is involved in the potential deal for Mesto, Bianchi is a completely seperate issue that will only involved cash. If we get Mesto and Bianchi, I will gladly let you keep Foggia.Reggina10Cozza wrote:I will take it if full ownership of foggia is involved in the deal.LFTWNG11 wrote:Lazio linked with defender Raggi of Empoli... Reggina president wants 15 million for Bianchi, and doesnt want to except for anything less.... the Lazio offer I believe is Baronio (full ownership), foggia co-ownership and to play for Reggina next season, plus 3 million euro's in exchange for Bianchi.... sounds good for me but isn't the equivelent of 15 million euro's, and if Juve are expected to pay that he could end up there.

ive seen him play once to be honest... and i didnt even notice him on the field. Was linked to Lazio a couple of days ago and most Laziale think it would be stupid to buy tht kind of midfielder when Mutarelli and Baronio are better, espeically considering hes no that good. Maybe good for Ascoli but Lazio require more talent than what this kid has.... in saying that, if we do purchase him and he proves me wrong I'll be happy. Honestly, I'd rather Almiron and Maresca over this kid.
