Re: WNPL Player Payments Models
Thanks for the reply.
I have heard of varying models
1) Some clubs have voiced disapproval of any payment to the senior women's. Same old chestnut. Have to be self sustaining. Meanwhile the club makes player payments through its women and juniors.
2) Some paid certain players. W-L-D scale. Not everyone.
3) There is certainly varying pay scales offered. Just look at the moves between City and Comets Salisbury Westies and vice versa. Birks in this as well.
In this regard I fully support any payments made because the players deserve it and after years of paying club fees teh game needs to have a value placed upon it.

Re: WNPL Player Payments Models
So you support women's players getting paid but want to take away a revenue stream for clubs and host all games at a neutral venue?
Re: WNPL Player Payments Models
No I do not however, I question how the allocation will occur. I think the formula to be sued will be interesting. How much will flow through to the WNPL team/s?

Re: WNPL Player Payments Models
I'm happy to be reading that there are some models for player payment. That's a good thing. There needs to be a value placed on the product. It deserves recognition and player payment is a positive.

Re: WNPL Player Payments Models
Its an important discussion that much needed for players to be rewarded for their efforts.
It may be enough for some to stay in the game and hopefully go onto possibly play at a higher level.

Sorry but the standard does not warrant payment.
Most can barely trap the ball and hit 5 meter targets.

You clearly spend more time in womens football forums than actually watching it. Maybe go back under your rock.

I’ve watched numerous matches and the overall standard is not at a level that warrants player getting paid.Lucas Leiva wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 6:36 pmYou clearly spend more time in womens football forums than actually watching it. Maybe go back under your rock.

Except you do want to take away a key revenue stream. You're very outspoken on clubs not hosting matches at their home ground.SAD GAL wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 11:11 am No I do not however, I question how the allocation will occur. You can't have players paid any sort of decent amount if their clubs aren't getting income from the gate every 2nd week.
Re: WNPL Player Payments Models
What happens with the so called revenue stream when a team has no home ground? And uses State Park.
