Happened to catch my third womens league game on the weekend and the standard of football displayed was nothing more than well below average. No.10 in the midfield for metro looked all out of sorts, barely getting out of first gear. It is questionable whether she is deserving of the no.10 guernsey. A very selfish player. The tall girl in the middle for metro was among the standouts, as well as the short girl up front. There were no real standouts who caught my eye from campbelltown. It wasn't til late in the second half when good coaching and a key substitution threw metro a lifeline, adding that little bit of extra spice they were looking for. Metro lucky to come away with the points from what you think would be an easy win away against one of the weaker teams.
Totally agree it was one of the worst games ive ever seen in the womens league. Bit harsh to say that about number 10 of metro, she is one of the most skillful players in the league, she just had a bad day like the rest of the team. no standouts for campbeltown but battled hard as a team!
everyone has their bad days.. that was obviously one of metro's, it happens to the best of us mate. It was just unlucky for you that you went to such a sh1t game lol... maybe u should chose ur games wisely if u plan to have any sort of opinion on womens soccer...

I like to see ur coaching or soccer knowledge to justify that any player who wears the number 10 guernsey, has to be the best player or justify to be the greatest player on the field. You can seem to pick the number 10 guernesy player, but you cant seem to pick what the tall mid field and the short girl upfront guernsey number is
Just quietly thank god i wasnt at the game, its the worst watching my team play s h 1 t from the sidelines when u know they can do better, spec with all the talented and experienced players they have! got inside goss that this wkends game was the worst metro have basically ever played- heard all players werent at their peak, alot were flat n generally fatigued including NUMBER 10- my good mate Danielle! haha everyone has their bad days.. and obviously the entire team of metro did sunday.. haha jesus! all i can say is pick up ur act girls! haha
yes was quite sloppy game, but tis really ridiculous to single out someone not playing well/not living up to a shirt number...was an allround sloppy game with no one excelling.

Metro were indeed lucky to come away with the points but to single out the no. 10 is totally uncalled for. She was one of many players not performing as they can do. When Metro fire on all cylinders they will take some beating.
