Now this is a fun thread.
Haywood sounds like an excitable fella
Keep it up lads
Glad to have you as an honorary Spurs fan.
Sorry NOC, there’s only 1 team for me: Audere est Facere
Very funny. Now fuck off from this thread before the Idiot Abroad joins in

With the rumours circling around, we best add another quality midfielder to our shopping list
You've signed a striker who wasn't picked as a striker for a club who didn't have a striker, he must be mindblowing
Can't see the New Library being an attractive destination for many.

You still going on about our new #9.. I've moved on, looking forward to compare notes at season end
You obviously haven't seen the media what I based my comment on.. or do you think its a Spurs player, living in Barnet they are talking about..??
It was the 'quality midfielder' bit that threw me off, Arsenal don't have any, so I kind of assumed it was another club.

If leeds buy any more Americans we'll have to start calling ourselves a soccer club rather than a football club
We’ve got a couple of yanks too (owners pick?) along with the annual flood of new foreigners. As usual most will turn out to be absolute rubbish but we will pay them way more than they’re worth so no other club will take them off us, it’s the Arsenal way. Hoping to see more of your Joe Gelhardt this year, looks a top prospect.

Wow, I was totally wrong, Arsenal are going to be a real force this season after a 5-3 smashing of that European powerhouse Nurnberg in a pre-season friendly.
Time for haywood and N5 to get excited

Gelhardt is a fast developing player and will do well if given a regular start and a regular partner to work with.
I can't see Bamford getting back to his best form for some time with his injury problems still haunting him.
Leeds have made some good signings though and have them on long contracts to give us a good squad for the future.
Just the players already there and one signed earlier this month played the other day and thrashed Blackpool 4 - 0 in a classy performance that had the critics getting excited.

Watched the extended highlights in German which was an ordeal in itself. Game had preseason written all over it, I hope
Happy with Sterling going to Chelsea. Have to stop whingeing about his diving now. Some of the money being bandied about for other players is crazy. Ake for $45m. Too much imo. Boehly taking control of transfers is interesting. Happy to personally control the agenda and spend his money. Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry will be useful if the Blues can get them. Need another CB asap. Tuchel needs to look at some of his young players out on loan. Other PL club fighting to sign a couple.
I actually happy with the signing. The Yank owner doing well. Add Koulibaly. Class signings.
Time for Chelsea to hang onto some of their star kids. Gallagher,Colwill and Broja. They are going after an old boy in Ake at about $45m when they have Colwill in their back yard.

I'm with N5, his best days, which were few and far between, are behind him and he won't get nearly as many opportunities from 4 yards out as he did at City. No way that Mount, Jorginho and the rest are as creative as KDB, Silva, Mahrez, Foden etc. I think you'll be lucky if he scores a dozen a season, which is not to be sniffed at, but not worth that money.
Oh, and Koulibaly is already a pensioner.

it took Maguire a whole 3 minutes to make Man U a worse team....
Plays them onside then is too slow to get back. Good old slabhead.
Half time and they've managed two lucky goals to take the lead. Love the way the commentator called the first, "he's chipped the keeper". What a peanut.

Hope Zinchenko is a decent midfielder coz he's a pretty shite defender
Should fit in well at the Goons

Comfortable 4 zip win against a strong Chelski side this morning..
I'm just amazed that the superstar Sterling didn't rip the Goons apart
Oh, it's still preseason

Raphinha will be a great buy for the Goons
Based on yesterday's reports he's more likely to be landing at Chelsea..
With him and Phillips gone looks to be another season In the bottom 3 for us
The rest of us certainly hope so.
Speak for yourself there, oh and all the rest of the southerners who hate Leeds purely because they are a Northern Club that was successful playing them at their own game that they had got away with for so many years.
They couldn't take it and still can't.
