Knight 7 you must have great hearing from the other side of the pitch!Knight7 wrote: Boys, boys, boys, firstly you didn't put the ball out, did you? The referee gave a ball up our player got the ball there was no mention of giving the ball back
The ref stopped play, correct and when the 'bounce up' was given our player stood aside and left it for your guy to play the ball to our keeper, he decided to run through and go for goal uncontested, even your sideline were amazed by it and couldnt apologise enough for it, it was piss poor sportsmanship dont try and cover it up.
I suppose Gino's 2 attempts at GBH (sorry tackles ) on the youngest player on the pitch were fair too ay?
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil!
I think Gino was sent off for hitting the guy in the stomach??? It was a stupid move and he was given a straight red - although it was nowhere near as bad as the guy made out - then he gets up and laughs and blows kisses to everyone he and Gino both know it was only a tap -anyway as I said earlier great game and the send off cost us

Boys, I gotta put my hand up and take half the blame for that. Firstly, we ( Knights ) had the ball on the left wing and were attacking. Secondly, ill think you'll find that only one player was off the park at the time to injury, our right back.
I was on the sideline at the time and when the ref dropped the ball, i half jokingly said 'shoot'......the ref should have made the intentions clear to both players and they should have agreed to what was going to happen.....none of that happened....i wasnt expecting him to full on attack. ( and i did appologise to ur coach at the time when he came up and spoke to me about it )
having said that, i thought the knights played well today, possibly their best performance of the season. Always expect ( and they never dissapoint ) a hard physical game against Vista, but i have to say that poor discipline let Vista down yesterday. Simo ( #2 i think was booked just after the penalty for discent and spent the rest of the game on a knife edge ) was lucky not to be sent off for a second yellow. I think that maybe affected his game a little and he wasnt as influential as he normally is. The berded guy up front was subbed by your coach because he was heading for a yellow, then got two of them ( and the red ) as he was walking off the pitch, then your sweeper was subbed cos he was getting too fired up.
The knights boys had good days all over the park. I thought Hawkey who took the penalty and scored a beauty from long range had a standout game, along with Adam in the wide midfield role and Mooney at centre half.
Was good banter between both benches and i enjoyed the game. Easy to say that when u win 3 - 0. Looking forward to the return game at Vista boys.

Yeah, very disappointing for us. Asteras came out firing in the first half and scored three goals in a 15 minute burst. We piled on the pressure in the second half, with Asteras content to counter attack but it was always going to be difficult to comeback. Full credit to Asteras, and very well played. Tough game next week, but we will bounce back!furburger wrote:Yeah, and they have a big game against Nth Utd (2nd on ladder) next weekManicD wrote:Athelstone 0 Greenock 1

Not the best of days for the Stones... missed chances up front have cost us dearly these last two weeks.

B's 2-1 to payneham i hear. As of for you Leethal, 1st post, 5:54pm. what did you do, pick up an old nappy left on that public park and run home to post abuse against us? NOONE from our club left that. maybe we should cop blame for the graffitti around the area too, and i believe there was also a car broken into a few streets away once. Coincidence, i think not, fkn brahma. I look forword to the return game at our ground, it will be nice to finally play a team that doesnt leave our ground without picking up every piece of rubbish of theirs, you bunch of angels you. You want to slag off other clubs on here you now better make sure your own club doesnt put a foot wrongLeethal wrote:Sunday Div3

Yeah it was a great saveCanine wrote:A's Pontian Eagles 2 v Plympton Bulldogs 1

A much improved effort by the first team today for the Bulldogs, we were competitive against the Eagles and their keeper made a great reflex save late into the game to deny us of our first point. Hopefully we can improve again next week as we gain a few players back and our first win is just around the corner.
I thought we had enough chances to win the game twice in the first half. Some poor finishing from our strikers which has been the story of our season so far. Our first goal started from a back pass to our keeper and we went forward a passed the ball about 10 times without you guys getting a touch. AT 2-0 at the break we thought it was a matter of how much but to your credit you got a goal as a result of a bad defensive error and kept applying the pressure. Our pitch today was a shocker as it has been all year and like Ive said in other post we do enjoy playing away.
Good reult for WB and also for Pumas. Should be a good game this week against Pumas.

What was the outcome of the bottle throwing incident? Was it on for young and old? There are some nasty looking boys on the sideline when BOSNA are playing.
both sets of supporters got a bit fired up, but all agreed that it was a low thing to do do. The women who got hit has a sore head, and the children who were near her were pretty lucky, they didn't get hit.
We have played Bosna several times over the years in league and trial games and we have never had a problem before, so hopefully it was a one off.

Agree Knight - reserve game was the best we've had this year. If you had 11 men in the second half we'd have been lucky to come away with the three points. Gotta say the equaliser by Vista to make it 3-3 was a crackerKnight7 wrote:

First Team - Vista honestly didn't have a shot on target and personally I thought 3-4 reserve players should have walked into their first team some strange selections
Ours As need to do some soul searching. Having said that I thought Simo had a good game.

good game in the a's today florina scored early then went to sleep and let go of the lead to be down at half time.
salisbury went down to ten men then finally stepped it up a notch to equalise through a penalty. florina where given a lifeline when eggers missed a sitter open goals at the six yard line and put it over the bar . good work from westies keeper to keep them in the game with a couple of saves in the last 10mins.
(i cant say much hence the emoticons)

Don't think its all worth going on about, at the end of the day they didn't score from it and they were the better team on the day. Got no problems with any of the knights boys i think they are all pretty good blokes, had a chat with one of there injured players after the match, they had a couple of their best players out and he was saying they'll be back soonish. The Mexican wrote:carra23 wrote:Knight 7 you must have great hearing from the other side of the pitch!Knight7 wrote: Boys, boys, boys, firstly you didn't put the ball out, did you? I'll take your word for it, I don't check the goal scorers bit, as I haven't scored a goal since 1976 (and even that looked offside) Agree that the Knights are taking shape - I think people got carried away with us losing our first 3, all tight games and since then weve won 3 drawn one (which we should have won comfortably) and yes we had 4 very very good players out yesterday - however all clubs have players out every week.LFTWNG11 wrote:yea but the goalscorers arent updated! hey knight7?!?!sidopolous wrote:Great to see the Amateur League website up to date so early this week

Ye was a deserved win for Bosna and a good game overall, sportsmanship shown by both sides at the end of the game but what caught my eye was the rumble the supporters from each side had once the final whistle went, yes there was a bottle thrown by a MALE BOSNA but there were racial comments made by the Grove to the BOSNA players and Bosna Adelaide didnt respond to that very well... besides that very good game to watch with Grove having some good chances but just not finding the back of the netpecker wrote:A's vs Bosna lost 1-0 ( beaten by the better side)
reserves lost 2-1
C grade vs Northern Ununited won 9-0
Over 35's vs downs drew 3-3
Thanks to the MALE BOSNA supporter who threw a beer bottle at one of our women, and hit her on the head.
Good to see you are keeping up your reputation.

ye Bosna was the better side and deservedly won the game.... elizabeths supporters are a bunch of RACISTS who were calling the African players on the Bosna team MONKEY'S through out the whole game and also telling the Bosna supporters "to go back to their country" and it was mostly the grove WOMEN who were saying these things.. im not saying that its ok to go around throwing objects at people but if anyone deserved it it was the grove women, who where the most vulgar people that i have ever seen in my time here in Australia.... their behaviour towards the supporters and players of Bosna was an utter disgrace!Berbatov wrote: Ye was a deserved win for Bosna and a good game overall, sportsmanship shown by both sides at the end of the game but what caught my eye was the rumble the supporters from each side had once the final whistle went, yes there was a bottle thrown by a MALE BOSNA but there were racial comments made by the Grove to the BOSNA players and Bosna Adelaide didnt respond to that very well... besides that very good game to watch with Grove having some good chances but just not finding the back of the net
You are a fckn idiot. I didn't hear anyone being racist until your ferals started throwing bottles. Saying that, I don't see what's wrong with telling someone to go back to their own country when they come here and act like your bunch of neanderthals do The league would be a far better place without you bunch of utter scum bags in it.barbarez01 wrote:ye Bosna was the better side and deservedly won the game.... elizabeths supporters are a bunch of RACISTS who were calling the African players on the Bosna team MONKEY'S through out the whole game and also telling the Bosna supporters "to go back to their country" and it was mostly the grove WOMEN who were saying these things.. im not saying that its ok to go around throwing objects at people but if anyone deserved it it was the grove women, who where the most vulgar people that i have ever seen in my time here in Australia.... their behaviour towards the supporters and players of Bosna was an utter disgrace!Berbatov wrote: Ye was a deserved win for Bosna and a good game overall, sportsmanship shown by both sides at the end of the game but what caught my eye was the rumble the supporters from each side had once the final whistle went, yes there was a bottle thrown by a MALE BOSNA but there were racial comments made by the Grove to the BOSNA players and Bosna Adelaide didnt respond to that very well... besides that very good game to watch with Grove having some good chances but just not finding the back of the net
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

good to see bosna at it again. and we wonder why we are struggling to get refs. yes the grove supporters can get a bit feral, but no body should be throwing bottles. you talk about racism, yet you have children running around that were born here but cant speak english. i think bosna need to go the same way that salisbury villa did. time they finally got kicked from the league. time for all div 3 clubs to say enough is enough and refuse to play them.
