Because the conversation was about British clubs, Rangers are a British club.
I'm still interested as to why you decided to post that particular picture. It doesn't make much sense.

Couldn't make it up- GIAE gets himself backed in to a corner yet again with false claims!
Rangers are a British Club but not a Scottish Club!
Celtic are a Scottish Club but not a British Club!
And to top it all his beloved Millwall are an English Club but not a British Club!
By his logic he will be telling us that Man. United are not an English Club but a British Club, on the assumption that he claims (falsely) they were the first British Club to win the European Cup.
Celtic are a Scottish Club with strong Irish roots. They reside in Glasgow (yes the same Glasgow as Rangers), making them a British Club.
Maybe time for him to read what he has written again.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Would be amazed if both ties are not open games with goals as both sides tend to play open and attacking football.
I'm tipping Celtic to win the first leg 3-1 but think that could lead them to play a risky game plan in the return leg.
Celtic to shade it but it could be very tight over both legs.
May the best team over the two legs proceed to the next round.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Maybe Celtic will give them one in the return leg- well done on what was a deserved victory, you guys deserve a lot of credit.
From what I have read you have sold some of your best players over the last couple of seasons and recruited well.
Would like to see you guys win it if we don't progress and that is looking highly unlikely.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
That sums up just about every Norwegian club that does well. Players get poached in the offseason. We also play in summer so clubs that qualify for Europe have to wait nine months to participate so by the time it comes around the teams can look quite different.thebeautifulgame wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 8:45 am From what I have read you have sold some of your best players over the last couple of seasons and recruited well.
I was at work so I only saw the Stan highlights of this morning's game. Do you know why was Solbakken booed in the lead up to Glimt's second goal?

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Okay GIAE I will bite.
By YOUR logic of not accepting Celtic as a Scottish and a British Club you appear to be labelling them one and not the other.
Don't give me the bull about them being an Irish Club! They have strong Irish roots and they are proud of their heritage, just like you are of England.
Eagleboy also caught you out about the lack of flying Union Jacks at Millwall, making your lot a non-British club by YOUR logic.
He put you in a corner and you just deflected as you do when you get caught out.
Apologies if I misunderstood your logic.
Just accept that your dislike (mild word, could be stronger) and intolerance of others leads you in to spats that could be avoided.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Confirmed that Celtic are coming to Australia in mid November to take part in a four team mini tournament in Sydney.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the other teams participating will be Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers and......
Rangers!
Now that would be a scoop- Celtic v Rangers in Sydney, looking forward to the 'friendly'!

Protests at the rangers game midweek with banners expressing the opinion they shouldn't play a friendly against paedophile rings.
