Leeds
C'mon Burnley, Newcastle.....
Cant believe one sports betting outlet was offering $3 "special" on Liverpool just to win (to join). I forgot to, could have paid off the mortgage.

Re: EPL 21/22
and I asked you the relevance to what a club is singing and doing.
I also have given you my answer my questioning what is wrong with it. Did you miss that?

Re: EPL 21/22
didn't say it was relevant (except the reference to something German). just asking if you thought it was OK which you couldn't/wouldn't answer with a simple yes or no....

The squad we have is not his fault, that's a combination of Steve Hitchen and Daniel Levy, neither of whom would recognise a footballer if they fell over him and who have wasted hundreds of millions on expensive imports who can't play in the EPL, so hopefully he'll stay for at least one main window and see if Levy allows him to buy anyone. The two he bought cheaply in January look OK and are both young, so just maybe we have someone who knows what he's doing, but he has to be realistic and understand that Spurs will never have the funds of a Chelsea or Man City.
Conte's a proper football man, so it baffles me that he still picks players who are obviously not good enough at this level, continually play dumb football and can't do the basics like pass, or even hoof, a ball with both feet. Players like Emerson Royal (no way is he Brazilian) and Ben Davies make Moussa Sissoko look like Pele.

Cracking VAR decision in Man City's favour this morning. The powers that be obviously don't want Liverpool winning anything

VAR is a disgrace, they didn't even get the ref to look at the monitor. The basic premise of 'clear and obvious' is just so subjective that it becomes ridiculous.eagleboy wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 11:42 amFoden said "my heart was in my mouth” as he waited for the decision on the handball." Re: EPL 21/22
I rarely blame the onfield ref, he sees things in real time at ground level, often through a forest of bodies, so they've actually done a good job over the years to get as much right as they do. They shouldn't need to be protected, haywood djablowme wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 8:10 amIntegrity of the game has gone Cyril.. now its just about protecting there employees running around making decisionsNice One Cyril wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 7:17 pmVAR is a disgrace, they didn't even get the ref to look at the monitor. VAR was intended to help them reduce that error rate by giving them access to multiple views, but they're almost never invited to actually look at it.
