Is there going to be one?

Who is the coach?

Has a squad been picked?

Where are they playing?

I got asked if I wanted to play in it a few seasons ago but I wasen't interested. It was played at the end of the season I think & I needed a break so I said no. To be honest though I think I was only asked cos there wasen't much interest in it.

a very average side regardless of who picked it. plenty of other options in the amateur league im sure. what about Ben aldridge? Shane golder? Johnny hopkins? Ross wilson? Matt simpson? Richard moore? There is quality in all divisions.

my side! average ?? rich moore been injured since round 2. matt simpson - no. , 3 other parafield boys not quite. matter of opinion, there is quality in all divisions but the majority should come from sun div 1.most players i,ve chosen proven track records

cant be serious about wilson or aitken, both of them are well past it now. were good enough a few years ago though. and makem blue cant be serious about naming golder. to be honest you would have to look at sat div 1 and sunday div 2 aswell. main problem would be finding a coach with knoledge of both sat and sunday leagues. maybe 2 coaches would solve that prob. 1 from sat the other from sunday

should ask the downs boys about wilson. he likes to spit on players now apparently. bit sad if this is true. like i said, was good enough a few years ago.

He surely did. Only coz he was getting a bath by the guy marking him. Still though, there is never any reason that a player should get pat on.

No chance of Ed Scalzi being picked. I believe he is no longer playing.

robinfriday you wouldnt pick matt cos he plays for vista but dont tell me he's not good enough. wasnt aware that moore was injured but that would explain why i havnt seen him in both of your games ive seen him play. u honestly trying to tell me that ben aldridge isnt the best goalkeeper in the sunday amateur league?? ur f***ing kidding yourself if thats what you think and johnny hopkins is one of the best midfielders in sunday league. just before you say anything bout gardens, no, i dont have ties with them but you had better be carefull cos your superstar derek was talking to them at one point and maybe with him and a descent coach they might win something. from what ive heard ed scalzi gone too. i do agree with jurek, del, reyno, blackwood, reevesy and mo though.

haven't seen much of ben aldridge , would have picked 2 different from last year but their not playing this year, bit scratchy with keepers.rick cerracio and tony scalzi - class, wilson or blackwood either for sweeper, not many left sided midfielders, lets see others thoughts then

Agree, thats the worst thing a player or anyone can do.

Just go the Downs 1st team.

There isn't one player who couldn't hold there own in the State team.

All Class!!!

You can pick people on names. And I've seen most of them play. Most of them when they've come up against the Downs have been all but spectators in the game.

Golder plays for Playford from memory so good chance he won't be classed as "amatuer". Mark Woods for the gullies def starter
