Re: T20 world cup
Seeing you raised it, must be the poms.
As for who wins, too hard to call, as shortened cricket can be a bit of a lottery sometimes. West Indies recent success a case in point.
So lets go Australia in an upset

Not sure how they work out the rating but Pakistan have way more points than anyone else.
I want Australia to win of course but id put money on India.

Re: T20 world cup
Wot a joke of a so-called “World Cup”!
FIFA should have patented/trademarked the words “World Cup” as the truly world-wide tournament so this crickette mob couldn’t use it.
I sense no-one gives a faaarrk about this T19 bashathon. Certainly Warner doesn’t.
Even to bashathon aficionados I pose this question: do ya care more about this joke or an Ashes series or a Test series against India or South Africa?

Re: T20 world cup
I'd rather win the toss on day one of the Ashes than the T20. That said, I will obviously be supporting my country.Con M wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 3:12 pm Wot a joke of a so-called “World Cup”!

Re: T20 world cup
In regards to T20 personally it should be left to domestic cricket only and not at international level. Cricket and football are both heading down the path of an overcrowded calander with little regard for the players. Mind you not too many players turn down the mega bucks of the IPL.Con M wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 3:12 pm Wot a joke of a so-called “World Cup”!

Re: T20 world cup
Tough to pick when the group's swap like this but surely England v Pakistan the favourite for the final.
Australia have recovered well after their smashing by England.
Pakistan - undefeated and surely tournament favourites.
NZ - looked OK but always lift at this stage.
England - comfortably qualifying and one loss in a "dead rubber" but having now lost Mills and Roy.

Re: T20 world cup
Why would that happen? We play by the rules of the tournament like every other team.
Love how aussies get salty over us winning anything.
