Re: Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Been watching a variety of sports.
Can't beat watching football in prime time , the 7+ app is great as you can watch an event without having C7 moving from one FTA channel to another.

Being able to watch what ever is happening at the time is great. Much better than letting 7 choose what you watch.

Re: Tokyo 2020 Olympics
have to be the worst free to air tv coverage of the Olympic games ever , so much for free to air providing better sports coverage as was promoted when we were forced to switch to digital.
I like to watch a bit of all sports with ch VII have 3 channels cant be that hard to get it right - have not seen any table tennis or archery, seen no other football games ( most watched sport at the Olympics ) other than our national teams , even then they stuff that up.
Seems as though Australia Olympic team rely as much on swimming, as what Nadal does on clay courts, to overtake the worlds best.
Looking forward to the athletics events.
How would all the athletes be feeling competing in front of empty stadiums ? they would have prepared for a lot of things during their training, empty stadiums is not one of them.

The 7plus app or website is the way to go to watch what ever you want. I watched the archery and skeet shooting yesterday on it.In the way wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 5:43 am have to be the worst free to air tv coverage of the Olympic games ever , so much for free to air providing better sports coverage as was promoted when we were forced to switch to digital.

I think it would be very strange for them all not competing and getting that boost from the crowds, would take a lot of adjusting for them to do it with no noise and extra motivation.

Re: Tokyo 2020 Olympics
The entire Australian track and field team has reportedly been forced into lockdown inside the Olympics Village as a result of a Covid-19 incident.
The report suggests an Australian athlete may have been a close contact of a member of the American athletics team who has contracted Covid-19.
American pole-vaulter Sam Kendricks was banned from competing at the Tokyo Games as a result of his positive test. He is reported to have been training with Aussie pole-vaulter Kurtis Marshall.
