The onslaught is about to begin with many players finding their straps after a few games and three trainings this year.

A's Beograd 13 Unley Utd 2
B's Beograd 10 Unley Utd 1

It is safe to say that the top side Black
Eagles will now be looking over their shoulders.

Res's are unbelievable with 6 players out due to injury and christenings and 25 players to choose from for the B's it is the glamour side of the amateurs.

I wouldn't get too excited there general.

While Beograd are expected to be a strength in this league - esp. from the amount of shite posted on this site, Unley have lost a huge number of players in the last month.

From those in the know, approximately 10 players have parted company with the club - 7 of them 1st team starters. If you can't beat Unley 13-2 from now on, you are in trouble.

from a unley first team player still there,yes we have lost shit loads of players.and in the lower div we have very limited depth of players.hence we are playing b team players and no offence to them they are not up to first team standard at all.but if u aint got no one else u have to play with what u have.
it is very disapointing as last yr we won div 7 and with the squad we had last yr we would of been competitive,but i suppose s hit happens!

We are refering to this league only and so we critique this league only.

You are only as good as the club you put out on the park.

we too have many players that dont play but am sure will be encouraged next year if promoted and then be even stronger.

Give credit where credit is due these beograd boys barely train but do have the ability to entertain with simple passing and trying to create an enjoyable atmosphere on the park.

It is fair enough to say they should beat unley 13.2 but anyone will suggest that scoring 10 goals against anyone regardless is an indication of a dominant side in the making.

If you beat the blind school 10-0 does that make you a good team? That is the level we are talking here......

you play who u play. no need for excuses and bringing your players down to a level.

to answer your question in reference to your league div 5.

yes 10.0 makes you a good team for that division given other sides were not able to accomplish the same thing.

and using a persons deficiency as an example is a pis poor argument.

given Unley lost by 11 goals.

However, some perspective please.

Unley has lost many of their first team players in recent weeks & from what I'm told is a club in turmoil so-to-speak. The results would have been similar when they played other teams if the scenario was the same.... ie. Aguila, Gawler, Fulham 2 would have beaten them by more if the higher quality players we speak of were not there during those previous matches.

My point is that whilst it should be respected that Beograd far outplayed Unley, we are not comparing apples with apples (Unley yesterday vs. Unley of round 1 or 2). Simply, you have a slightly inflated opinion of how good you actually are.

I have seen Black Eagles in action recently and they will def. take you guys apart. Don't get ahead of yourself big fella!

If you read posts previously I have predicted Black Eagles to win the league.

I have also stated that you keep claiming the team was not that of round 1. well neither was Beograd.

We still have 5 quality players out injured who have not even played so to burst your bubble you are still pumping up a team who trains while in a sense not rewarding a team that doesnt for whatever reason.

No use making predictions. on your information Black Eagles will beat you guys about 18.2. But maybe you will get your players from round 1 and then it may be 14.4.

get over it u sulker. We all play for fun and hope our cholesterol levels decline. most of us have been there done that and it is all about playing for fun, with mates and for the mighty RED, BLUE, and WHITE.

Like I said I am not a player at Unley so do not understand what is happening down there - I am mates with a player who has left the club. I have just heard about their poor state of affairs and assume Beograd were able to take advantage of that.

Never have I been 'pumping up Unley' - they are clearly in trouble and it is sad for the boys who get pumped by 11 goals like this.

If you say that you 'have been there, done that' then I can only presume you are a bunch of SA Premier League U19 'never has beens' who didn't have the committment to make it any further.

If the glory of having an ethnically linked team playing in the higher divisions is what you want, then good luck to you.

P.S Your cholesterol levels are directly linked to your diet - so stay off the chevaps and lamb spits perhaps.

Have fun beating your chest with ethnic chants whilst setting the world alight with your glamour football. I'm done.

sure beograd beat us,well spanked us but we gave them prob 5 or 6 of the goals through lack of skill player f uck ups ect.as a team they are prob too good for this div but certainly no standouts.as chosen one said if it was our team from earlier in the season we would of been much more competitive.imo they were all good lads to me on the park and no real niggle (as u would expect in a rout)not that a bit of niggle bothers me.they will probably be around the mark i would say but boys dont get ahead of ureself,it often comes unstuck!

as far as a unley point of veiw it will be a long season which is a pity as it didnt have to be that way.i have never been in a team that is the whipping boys of the league,but this season looks like that i suppose.all i can do as a player in a team like we are now is i suppose help and teach the younger lads that have come into the first team and maybe they can become better players.but getting spanked each week sure does hurt!

B's 90kg,s ht 6ft

at least 5 krompirs in reserves and many eating krompirs.

We dont beat chests but more so slap stomachs.

Yeah but if you take ZM out of the As and VB out of the Bs, the Avg weight of the team decreases by half.....

And the Avg speed increases by half.....

They must be having lots of problems with their players. I don't know how they can be undefeated so far?

I am sure that DT,AC,VG, ZK,DP,BP/AP and the UZ brothers will ensure that even the real one does not touch the ball.

KMAN scored the goal of the year. I was not present due to my social calender being booked with eating 9 course meals but I will be registered for the black eagles this week I am told.
