Foxtel Now Box

I just bought a Foxtel Now Box from Kogan. What sold me was it comes with Chromecast built-in. I already have Foxtel but wanted the Chromecast feature. What my issue is , I believe it requires a login and create a Foxtel Now subscription.
I don't want to pay any subscription to Foxtel Now, I just want to use Chromecast and maybe download apps. I do have a google account.

why didn't you just buy a chromecast you dopey anglo and saved yourself 50 bucks :lol:
