And Lazio are a role model club
All I hear is constant whinging from you Lefty because poor Lazio can't keep their players. Lazio went through their buy everyone and anyone phase as well. Most clubs have, especially when a new president comes in.
boo hoo , have a why don't ya.
Regarding cheating 80's mean anything to you
What about the 60's??
Im just p1ssed cause our buy everyone stage only lasted like 4/5 years!!! you love my whinging Amrosiana, its the highlight of your day.
I don't get the attitude ppl give to Vieri. It is stupid.... he is as good a target man as any- and in Italy he is still loved by many, was his Azzurri performances all a fluke? He has scored twice in two weeks if you haven't noticed since returning from injury. He has been through a bad stage in his career, however, consistently scoring 20+ goals a season as he did in the past is not good luck. As soon as someone starts be-littling a good player ie- Ronaldo: everyone jumps on the bandwagon and act as if they are shit. If you have soccer knowledge think for yourselves. Vieri in the right environment could go through the twilight of his career in brilliance as the best do, in serie a atm Lucarelli/ Amoruso- (Hubner a couple of years back/ Baggio) all had great seasons in their 30's. Vieri could easily score 15+ goals a season. Why they hell would he wanna come to the a-league.
Amoruso for Reggina had retired, Reggina's president got him playing again 4 us, and he has shone in 2 seasons. Why? because class is permanent, with faith in the players ability and a good environment they can again achive the greatness they had in the past. Ronaldo is currently changing the sheepish minds of many, and making real madrid fans furious he was sold.

Gabriel Milito to Liverpool.
crazy man... Mesto to Lazio!!! Hopefully we get Maresca too!
Dani Alves, David Villa, Gabriel Milito and Darren Bent to Liverpool.
LOL ...
i remember u rated Villa when u 1st joined this forum, and then couple months later u said he will not suit EPL, and hope liverpool will look for someone else and dont waste those money ... and now u want him back .. u make urself looks like clown dude
ronaldo07 I was putting down the players we are linked to, not who I want to join the club... [INSERT DUMBASS ICON]
Villa would not be my first or second choice striker ot purchase for Liverpool next season, but if we sign him then I will still hope he proves me wrong. You think I like Gabriel Milito for Liverpool?!?!? but if they come they are more than welcome to prove me wrong! ok dude?
Dani Alves and Darren Bent on the other, the quicker we sign dem the better, I would also take Eto'o, Daniel Carvalho, Quaresma and Micah Richards... getting rid of Gonzalez, Zenden, Fabio Aurelio, Hyypia, Sissoko, Fowler and Bellamy.

I think Raul will also move on and also giving back Arsenal that useless Reyes. I hope we hold on Diarra, he and Gago will be the best central midfield pairing for seasons to come in Europe.
I think we should sign C.Ronaldo to replace Beckham and give us the one of the best wingers in the world, we have the money but I think he will stubborn and stay with Manchester United, although if he wants to win the Champions League, he will only do this if he moves to Real. We will probably get Robben instead, but I see in the future C.Ronaldo with Real. Kaka is the same, we should sign him but unless Milan Ronaldinho I don't see this happening. These players are worthy of wearing the white shirt.
Palermo president Zamparini slams Lazio over transfer talks
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has hit out at Lazio over transfer negotiations.
"(Christian) Zaccardo is not a Lazio player," announced Zamparini. "If he does leave, it will be to Milan, Inter or another big club like that. President Claudio Lotito doesn't like to reach too far into his wallet and Zaccardo is expensive.
Stephen Makinwa is currently in a co-ownership deal, as he spent 2005-06 at the Stadio Barbera and this season in Rome, where he netted three goals in 24 appearances.
"Lotito asked me to renew the current agreement, but I answered that since he spent this year at Lazio, then next term it would be only right for him to play in Palermo. At the end of the day, I think it'll go down to a blind auction," added Zamparini.
"The only difference between Lazio and Palermo is that Lotito has an advantage over me - he is sneaky in negotiations."
The Rosanero boss also commented on reports that his side had joined Juventus in the race to sign Tommaso Rocchi.
"We are not interested in Rocchi and have no Lazio players in our sights."

The Can`t Think Of Anything To Put Here Gossip

WHY DO PEOPLE PRETEND THEY KNOW WHERE HE'S GOING?
We're tired of writing a summary of the utter gubbins the nation's hacks are making up about Carlos Tevez every day - especially since he's back home in Argentina, not discussing any move with anyone - so you're going to have to content yourself with our copy and pasting:
'Chelsea have entered the bidding to sign Carlos Tevez although they are facing strong competition from Real Madrid. The two clubs are the only ones to have made serious inquiries about the 23-year-old Argentine, although West Ham United are hoping he will stay at Upton Park for at least one more season,' says The Independent.
'It could be that if neither Chelsea nor Real meet the asking price - which sources claim could be anywhere between £20m and £40m - that a deal may be structured to keep Tevez at Upton Park. That would undoubtedly be met with a further outcry from clubs who have questioned the £5.5m fine meted out to West Ham over the controversial signing of Tevez and fellow Argentine Javier Mascherano last summer, and the non-disclosure of the full terms of the agreement.
'So far Liverpool - for whom Mascherano now plays - and Manchester United have not lodged interest in Tevez, who was West Ham's player of the season. The club holds his registration and has torn up the agreement with Joorabchian and the companies which own Tevez's "economic rights" so, in theory, they could receive a transfer fee. However, this will not happen as it would certainly lead to West Ham being successfully sued by Joorabchian and MSI.'
OOH, THAT SAVED A LOT OF EFFORT!
This copying and pasting is excellent! Ctrl-c, ctrl-v, job done and the Gossip Column's off to eat the scraps out of other people's breakfast bowls. Baddabing, baddaboom:
'Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher have given Liverpool the perfect Champions League final boost by agreeing their megabucks new deals,' says The Sun.
'Yet there is a growing fear Xabi Alonso could leave in the summer if he misses out in Athens on Wednesday.
'Skipper Gerrard, 26, will collect a cool £120,000 a week - around £6million a year - and extend his present deal until 2010.
'Centre-back Carragher, 29, will pick up nearly £80,000 a week.
'Liverpool are unlikely to announce the news officially until after their midweek showdown with AC Milan in the Greek capital.'
HONESTLY, WE COULD DO THIS ALL DAY!
'John Terry and Frank Lampard will open contract talks to resolve their Chelsea futures now the season's work is complete for the FA Cup winners. The Chelsea captain had delayed negotiations on what he hopes to be a five-year deal worth more than £5m a year but expects to have an agreement in principle before he leads England in the European Championship qualifiers next month' - The Guardian.
KEEP THIS ONE UNDER YOUR HAT
Whisper it quietly, but a little bird tells the Gossip Column Owen Hargreaves is signing for ManYoo.
BUT SHOUT THESE ONES FROM THE ROOFTOPS
Sir Fergie is also going to snap up Fernando Torres from Atletico Madrid, Gareth Bale from Southampton and Nani from Sporting Lisbon, according to the Daily Mirror.
There's good and bad news for Spurs fans - 'Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov remains an unlikely signing,' says the rag, but 'United boss Fergie is also keen on Spurs winger Aaron Lennon, as a long-term replacement for Ryan Giggs.'
Interestingly, the rag also claims that Sir Fergie 'will axe keeper Edwin Van der Sar in favour of Ben Foster for next season.' Although the Daily Mail reckons ManYoo will make an £8m move for Hearts goalie Craig Gordon.
The Times claims that the FA Cup final looks set to have been Gabriel Heinze's last game for Manchester United. Mikael Silvestre and Louis Saha are also vulnerable.
PARDS FINDS BENT REPLACEMENTS
Darren Bent is on his way out of Charlton, and will be replaced... by two men. Now that's cunning.
Chris Iwelumo will join the Addicks on a Bosman from Colchester, says The Sun, which also reckons they will complete 'a £2million swoop for Crewe's Luke Varney'.
'Pardew expects to beat Middlesbrough, Derby and Leicester for Varney, 24, who netted 25 times for Crewe this season.'
As for Bent, Liverpool now appear to be first in line. And £12m will apparently be enough to land him - a figure we'll believe when it happens and not before.
AND THE REST
Bolton are chasing Fulham striker Brian McBride, while Aston Villa and Sunderland are ready to offer £3million for Trotters keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen...Everton are lining up a £4million bid for Sheffield United captain Phil Jagielka, but face a fight with Wigan for his signature...Sylvain Distin will snub a move to Newcastle and instead sign a £40,000-a-week deal with Portsmouth...Pompey are close to sealing a £9million deal for Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari...Martin O'Neill will throw lots of Randy Lerner's dollars at Stephen Appiah and a few at some kid called Steven Naismith from Scotchland...Blackburn have turned down a £350,000 bid for Francis Jeffers from Ipswich...Newcastle, Manchester City and Bolton are all keen on Liverpool centre-half Sami Hyypia...Middlesbrough are in the hunt to sign Aberdeen skipper Russell Anderson.
Im pretty sure that Wayne Rooney is going to the New Zealand Knights. They have offered him 72 million a year and it looks like he is gonna take it. There is also speculation that Christiano Ronaldo is on his way to Queensland Roar. He had a similiar offer to Rooney's

"I would like to play with Roma, although I will need to speak with President Massimo Moratti before I take any decision," he told Centro Suono Sport.
"I have a great relationship with the president and I will meet him this week
"I had never thought of playing for another Italian club aside from Inter, but if Moratti were to give me his permission and there were the chance to join Roma I would go immediately."
