Are you so jealous of us though that you have to use your racism about us in a random thread about rangers v Celtic?
Stick to the topic.

One could equally ask, when are the Sweaties going to finally win anything outside of Scotland?MegaBonus wrote:when are the Poms going to finally win something in Scotland??

Nice try, but I think you'll find that Man United the club won those, SAF just happened to be the manager.

Ah, must just be a coincidence that he won 38 trophies in his time with us Must be another coincidence that no English manager has ever won the 'English' Premier League.....

Now back to sticking to the topic- Celtic v Rangers. Some people just want to jump on here and ruin what was a decent thread
until fairly recently.
All because they can't give a Scottish club (with Irish roots) some credit and respect for what they have achieved. If you can't stick to the topic and be constructive don't bother posting.

Hold on sweetheart, it was taken off topic by a blome who is more likely to be anti Rangers. Nice try though.

Also to the Sunderland guy who is all doom and gloom (nothing to do with your club being shambles, right?) - where did I say 'English football only started after 1992' about? Idiot. Probably still got anger from your club getting flogged by Celtic reserves, how glorious was the Stadium of Light's 20th anniversary?

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Cardiff and Swansea make the word English irrelevant anyway.
The fact is, Scotland are no good but they currently have the best left back playing in the premier league.

Re: Rangers v Celtic
All doom and Gloom?? I support my club through thick and thin. We got beat in a friendly by Celtic you nugget. I bet you are a half/half scarf wearer. Just like a lot of manc supporters you only pop up when you're winning or start supporting some other team. You most certainly implied it was all about the EPL but hey, you live on in you're delusion.Bradmufc1975 wrote:Ironic isn't itNikos Sampson wrote:Fix up someone else's quote and make a mess of it yourself.Raich Carter wrote:

Re: Rangers v Celtic
On the eve of yet another Celtic v Rangers game at Celtic Park. Due to a vast improvement in Gerrard's team this game is not now the foregone conclusion it was of recent seasons past. I believe that Rangers will travel with confidence following the League Cup Final that they totally dominated (though still managed to lose). They could actually play a lot worse against Celtic today yet still come away with at least a point.
I personally think that Celtic's performance in the Cup Final was unacceptable and Lennon got his tactics woefully wrong. He should be smart enough to ensure that this performance is not repeated in any shape or form. To be fair he was also let down by experienced players such as Forrest, McGregor and Christie and these players must take more responsibility in such crucial games. That said Gerrard and Rangers must take credit for totally bossing the game. Edouard starting should in itself be a big influence on the game though others in a Celtic shirt should know they let the fans down. I reckon Celtic will have to keep Morelos and Kent quiet and not let Jack get a grip of the game in midfield as he did in the previous game.
Hoping it will be a decent game and not a game of kick and rush/cancelling each other out. My head says a 1-1 draw but as these two don't often draw my heart says 2-1 to Celtic in a keenly contested affair. Come on the hoops!

Re: Rangers v Celtic
Disappointed with the game and result and only have to say we got what we deserved- nothing! Rangers by far the best side the first half and Celtic only improved when Rangers went 2-1 up and Gerrard decided to absorb the threat of Celtic, which was rather ordinary if the truth be told. Even Edouard looked jaded and he didn't seem match fit. Forrest yet another game against Rangers when he went missing though he wasn't the only one. Again my team benefited from a dodgy goal which no doubt VAR would have chopped off. All in all, no complaints or excuses as the best team won. Perhaps the Celtic board will now see the seriousness of the threat from Ibrox and free up cash to buy a couple of decent signings as they badly need them.
At this moment in time the pendulum seems to be swinging back in favour of Rangers but we know it can be a fickle game. Will be interesting to see how they are placed come the next fixture as Rangers would have to fancy their chances. Great for Scottish football that there is a real title challenge which could go right to the wire- unlike that one team league down south!
