Suazo to Inter? (it's not from tribal football)
Reports in Italy suggest that Cagliari striker David Suazo has agreed to a three-year contract with Inter.
The Honduran, who scored 13 goals this season, has been linked with a move from Cagliari after eight seasons at the Stadio Sant’Elia, with several big clubs interested in his services.
Thursday’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport titles that an agreement has been finalised between Suazo and Inter, who have offered the 27-year-old a three-year deal worth £1m per season.
The switch is claimed to be worth £10m to the Sardinian outfit, although some of the Nerazzurri’s youth team players could be included in the deal as well.
Massimo Moratti denied on Wednesday that there was any truth in the newspapers’ reports, but the signing is expected to be confirmed immediately after the end of the season.
Suazo wants to focus on helping Cagliari secure Serie A safety before any move is announced, with the Rossoblu just one point above the relegation zone with two games to play.
The news of Suazo’s arrival has also added weight to the rumours suggesting that Adriano is on the verge of leaving the San Siro.
The striker was dropped from Roberto Mancini’s Coppa Italia squad this week because of a knee injury, but the Brazilian’s time with the Nerazzurri seems near to its end.
Adriano, who has struggled so far this season and has hit the headlines for his behaviour off the pitch, is a reported target for Real Madrid after being paired with Los Blancos last summer.

If it's true then inter have signed one of the gun forwards of Serie A.

i dont know about suazo, i dont think he is a player who would greatly benefit the current inter squad, inter will do some serious squad reinforcement and i think he has to great a price tag attached to him, the reported 15 million is a lot for a player who has only scored 13 goals of which 8 were from the penalty spot, someone like tevez would be a much better buy.

Ibrahimovic, Crespo, Adriano, Julio Cruz, Recoba.... am I missing someone?
well the jury is still out on Adriano, his future is uncertain. Crespo may well be going back to Chelsea and Recoba did state he will levae, but now he said he isn't so sure. So you don't know.
Another Interista.... dont we have enough of these blokes! ahahaha**NERAZZURRI** wrote:i dont know about suazo, i dont think he is a player who would greatly benefit the current inter squad, inter will do some serious squad reinforcement and i think he has to great a price tag attached to him, the reported 15 million is a lot for a player who has only scored 13 goals of which 8 were from the penalty spot, someone like tevez would be a much better buy.

However Suazo is very different, he can run at defenders with the ball at full speed, and break from the last line early on. Because he's so agile he's very hard to mark, and is quite good in breaking off the line into play just to confuse the defenders as well.skliro wrote:Just want Inter needed, another gun striker.
