I think it was something started by Totti, from my limited knowledge suppose to signify that scoring goals is like childs play- Italian girls emulate Totti, Kerr emulates Cahill.
How many goals have Matildas scored from direct play in last few games ? Cant keep relying on set pieces / corners / etc to score our goals .

Aah The World Cup of 2006.....

End of the day, Australia couldn't score against 10 men and the winner was through a controversial penalty.
